First time visiting and we had an amazing time! Kinme is a small BYOB restaurant with an amazing food selection! The food is absolutely delicious! I kept thinking of more items to order. The service was also great! If you love great sushi, you'll definitely want to add Kinme to your list!
Everything excelled at this restaurant We had been there once before and when it first opened I had sashimi and wings Both were extra special The other 3 loved what they had we cannot wait to go back
Very happy regular visitors here. We tried many other sushi places, which never compare to the high quality at Kinme. So we always flock back here! Thank you for the delicious food - it's a wonderful local spot.
Outstanding sushi prepared very fresh with some creative rolls. Service was friendly, but pacing quite slow (there was a large birthday party at a nearby table the night we dined which may have affected service). Overall, a great dining experience.
Nice little place, fresh sushi & sashimi.

Very friendly people, high quality fish, and some of the most creative and delicious sushi rolls I've ever had. Highly recommend to anyone!

Kinme is definitely our go to place for sushi in Philly, where there are so many choices. The owner Nancy is so warm and friendly, the fish always very fresh, and the presentation with unusual sauces always beautiful.
The food was freaking delicious but the only thing that bothered me a little bit was how slow the service was. Other than that it was pretty amazing and I would definitely recommend again and also prepared to be a little cramped up since it's pretty small.
The shrimp tempura was burnt and tasted bad, and the cream cheese tasted almost stale. On top of that, the server (a woman) kept lecturing me about the food, which made the experience very uncomfortable.
The menu clearly said Aladdin Roll, yet she insisted several times that it was called “Ala’en”, correcting me in a way that felt unnecessary and rude. Instead of making me feel welcome, her attitude came across as condescending.
As a paying customer, I expect respectful service and food that matches the quality advertised on the menu. Unfortunately, this visit left me disappointed.

Had the green hulk = sashimi pieces and an avocado chunk wrapped in cucumber, small, bland, mid. Had the 2021 roll , again, bland, unimpressed. $44. So over priced, Highway robbery. Never again.

Fresh and delicious menu with lots of options, including wyagu beef and other high-end items. The Annie roll was amazing. Will definitely be back.
The kani salad was just okay—the dressing was too light and lacked flavor. The seaweed salad, however, was fresh and really tasty. The sushi overall left me with mixed feelings: while everything was fresh, some rolls stood out (Spicy Tuna, Crown Salmon) while others (like the Spicy Salmon) were more average. My favorite was definitely the Spicy Tuna.
The staff was friendly, it’s BYOB, and as a bonus, if you pay with cash or Venmo, they give you a free matcha ice cream, which was absolutely delicious.
