I ate at L’Anima for the first time last night … it was perfection from the service to the food preparations … I had the Bronzino which was so delicious … their salad special was excellent too … if you’re in Philly check this restaurant out …
Wow a gem of a place…nestled in a great little neighborhood, this restaurant has really good Italian fair with plenty of options for all tastes. Everything was really well executed and tasted great…especially the desserts lol

Based on the reviews, L' Anima is a neighborhood gem with a wonderful atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. The service is amazing, and the staff goes above and above to accommodate every party, making guests feel not only welcome but taken care of. The food is delicious and fantastic, with specific meals like the soft shell crab special, fresh pastas, fish specials, and the Grigliata always on the menu. Other enjoyed dishes include the Polipo alla Griglia and the Involtino Saltimbocca. The Penzance crisp and tasty crust, mushroom appetizer, and hand made pasta are also quite good. Do not miss the Tiramisu. The restaurant has a cool, relaxed vibe with nice outdoor seating, which is dog friendly at the outdoor tables. The only downside is finding a parking spot nearby.
