Excellent food truck! I ordered the platter and a jarrito, made my day!
My wife and I eat a lot of tacos and ever since getting the tacos here, i compare all other tacos to El Amiguito, this place is the best! They are super friendly, delicious, and affordable. Really happy to have them as a part of the neighborhood community.

El Amiguito | Food Truck is a gem serving some of the best Mexican food in Philly. The food is always flavorful and fresh. The hot sauces are amazing, and the meat is tender. The rice and beans are flavorful, with moist rice and soft fried beans. Popular menu items include the best mission-style burrito for $11 cash, stuffed with tender chicken tinga and not bogged down by too much rice. The birria comes piping hot with melty cheese and stuffed with beef, served with a flavorful consomme. Pollo and steak tacos are A+, needing only diced onion, cilantro, and salsa. The chicken alambre is so flavorful that no additional sauces are needed. The mango agua is light and refreshing. The people working the truck are super friendly and smiley, with nice and fast service. The truck is really clean. They also have tortas and plates for those who don't want wraps. A real winner with call-ahead pick-up service to beat the mid-day lunch.
