Hidden gem in Philly! Feels very homey and welcoming. The staff is great and kind. The food was so good that I didn’t have time to grab my phone for a picture.
Didn’t have to decide between church and brunch! I just tried La Catedral for the first time as I’ve been wanting to try this neighborhood spot for awhile. It seems like this place is slept on gem compared to other NoLibs brunch spots. We had the omelette plate and plaintain French toast and it was sooo flavorful and delicious. Will be coming here as my main brunch spot from now on.
Delicious and fairly priced, friendly service and comforting atmosphere! Will be back!

This place seriously blew me away. I stopped by La Catedral Café on a whim and ended up having one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Mother got the quesadilla and wow—so cheesy, packed with flavor, and the tortilla was perfectly crisp. It’s the kind of dish that’s simple but done so right you can’t stop eating it.
I had the Creme Brulee French toast and it was totally worth it. Lightly sweet, fresh strawberry and blueberry. Definitely no syrup needed.
Daughter ordered the Quesabirria Tacos with consomé and they were hands down some of the best. The meat was tender and seasoned perfectly, and the broth added the perfect finishing touch.
The vibe is cozy, the staff is super friendly, and the food tastes homemade in the best way. If you’re anywhere near the area, definitely check this place out.
The food there is just amazing one bite will have you full and the employees are wonderful people. I'm honestly trying to go again. I highly recommend going here if you love Mexican food in Philadelphia. It is a must ? ?? ?

Definitely one of the more underrated taco spots in Northern Liberties with great value too! For $10 they pack their carnitas and are juicy and flavorful as well. A spot I order from once a week!

My friends and I recently visited Philly and, despite only being in town for a few days, we made sure to stop here again after our first experience. The food is incredible, and everyone there is friendly and helpful.

Authentic Mexican cafe with lots of typical American breakfast and brunch options. I got the chilaquiles with red sauce which comes with beans eggs and choice of meat if you want. Super flavorful sauce cooked up on the stovetop and presented simply and beautifully. Horchata was sweet and refreshing to go along with breakfast. Support smaller family-run establishments and come here for breakfast/lunch!

One of the most unique takes on Mexican / Latin American cuisine I've had not just here in Philly, but anywhere! The quesabirria may just change your life.
(P.S. sorry Grubhub made them eat the cost of GH's mistake one time I ordered! Gonna order directly on the website from now on.)
