We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at La Fontana Della Citta last night . The space was very cozy, the service was top notch and the food was excellent! We enjoyed everything we tried, the Brussel Sprouts, Whipped Ricotta, Caesar Salad, Gnocchi, Flounder Francese, Seafood Pasta w/ a Creamy Mushroom Sauce and Tiramisu. It was a wonderful meal from start to finish!

Stay away during any remotely busy hour. Generally don’t like to complain but this was by far and away the worst experience I’ve had at any restaurant ever. Had a reservation for a group of 8 on a Friday. I understand Fridays and the weekends are generally a busy time for restaurants and have no issue waiting for food or a table, however I would still ask for the bare minimum of service to be met. We had to ask for just about everything. Our group sat down and no server came by to greet us or introduce themselves at any point. After about 15 minutes of sitting there we flagged someone down and asked if we can order food. We did not have silverware so politely asked for some - our server grabbed forks and knives and tossed them down on the table in front of each of us. We also didn’t have napkins, and again had to ask someone to give them to us. A server came back with three napkins for a table of eight. We then asked someone else if we can have more napkins and they came back with two napkins, so in total we had five napkins for eight people. There was one small bottle of water for eight which we also asked for more of. Other tables had olive oil for bread on the table and we didn’t have any. It’s BYO and we had to ask for wine glasses. It was getting to the point where we felt uncomfortable asking for basic things that one should receive while dining at any restaurant especially an establishment that considers themselves as “Italian fine dining”. The food came out and everyone was served what they ordered except for me. My food was forgotten and none of the servers realized or bothered to ask if we were waiting on anything. This was the last straw for me personally and at that point I didn’t even want the food - I flagged a server down and politely told her my food never came and that I do not want it and just want to make sure it was removed from the bill. She replied with an okay - no apology or anything. I would not be writing this review if it was just one or two things that went wrong - at the end of the day our table was forgotten about and none of the servers or managers took accountability for the terrible service we received. The group however did get a good laugh in when we were paying for the bill and overheard the server at the table next to us reading off what the specials for the night were…we had no idea specials were on the menu.

Food was decent, but it was the worst service our collective group has ever experienced. One bottle of water for our table of 8 and we didn’t get another until near the end of dinner. Had to ask multiple servers until someone finally took our order. No napkins or silverware until we asked. The waitress tossed a fork and a knife in front of each of us. 2 napkins for the table (for a party of 8!). We asked for more napkins and thankfully someone came back with 3 more. Whatever you do, don’t go when they’re busy because they can’t meet the literal bare minimum for service.

The food just didn't meet my expectations of a good Italian meal using quality ingredients and preparation.

Service was not great. Long waits initially for service. Menu had wine stains on it. Bread came without any oil or butter and it was stale. Saved from the previous night most likely. The calimari was BLAND and a few pieces tasted like day old seafood. The Bolognese portion was good but the sauce was trash. Like canned sauce with ground meat thrown in. The pasta was box style. Will not be going back.

Understaffed. The basement was musty and shouldn't even be an option for seating. Twice the wrong food was delivered to our table. They could've made up for it with amazing food but even that was subpar. Sadly disappointed.
