Excellent high quality tasty food! I was floored! We had the forbidden rice bowl, and the special of the day, which was a meatless meatball sandwich. We also had fresh juices and I had the most amazing rose, petal coffee. We are actually going back tomorrow for breakfast.
Concept is great and I want to patron restaurants like this but food like this is why people don't want vegan food (we cook vegan at home a lot and try vegan places when we travel). We got the kale salad and the stewed chickpeas. Both were criminally underseasoned. The kale salad was a huge missed opportunity. Salad was perfectly dressed, but the dressing was flavorless. It's hard to find options that are both gluten-free AND vegan AND taste good. This place hit all three. We came here for brunch and got the french toast, chocolate chip pancakes, and the grilled cheese (one of the specials for the day). The portions were large, the bread they used for the french toast and sandwiches was amazing, and my 8 year old said he can't wait to go back. This will definitely be our go-to brunch spot whenever we visit Philadelphia.
