There is nothing like a little comfycorner bar/ restaurant in Philly- this one is my all time fav! The food is sooooo good! The gahhhhlic pizza is AMAZING! I have yet to try something that I didn’t love! The prices are more than fair.The staff are all so friendly, the owner is always there for everything from greeting you with a smile to fixing a crooked place setting- give it a go- you will thank me!
The old lady bartender gave me a dirty look. The other guy didn't even say hello. Left immediately. Never again.

It was my first time here and the food was fantastic! I mean really fantastic. We started out with a salad, then had the artichoke appetizer, and both were excellent. We had the pizza with arugula, prosciutto amd mozzarella. The last time I had pizza that good was when I was in Italy. We had the spumoni for dessert, and it was terrific! This place is a little gem tucked away in South Philly. Service was friendly and excellent. I will be back! Ciao!

Terrible service. I personally love the Pennsauken location but decided to come for lunch since I was already in Philly. It’s not even 4pm and this place is empty yet I can’t get a table because I said my friend may come and eat with me. I’m pregnant, ready to order and this really left a nasty taste in mouth. I would understand if they were booked and packed and it was dinner time. Do not recommend at all. I will continue to go to the Pennsauken location it’s nicer and they have better customer service.

We hosted a private event and used their group menu (planned in advance with the manager), and everything was fabulous. The staff took excellent care of our group of 16. They boxed up leftovers, cut and plated two cakes that we brought with us, and overall just went above and beyond the whole evening. All the food was delicious too. Would recommend without hesitation for any night out or private event!

Everything here is DELICIOUS! The ricotta board is huge - definitely a perfect ‘for the table’ starter. Their pies are yummy and so are the drinks! A wonderful happy hour and ample bar seating. Stop in when you’re in the area!
Pizza is decent, I had the happy hour white pie. Their calamari I had to send back because it tasted like rubber.

I love this place!! Ricotta stuffed crust meatball pizza is to die for. Salads are fresh and perfect. Had the Panzanella salad on special this time around. My bf had the spicy shrimp and peppers app and Truffle pizza, both of which he loved as well. Great beer taps, great staff, comfortable bar seats, all in all one of the most satisfying dining spots for Italian food/pizza/beer in Philadelphia. Much better then the Jersey location.
