There is nothing like a little comfycorner bar/ restaurant in Philly- this one is my all time fav! The food is sooooo good! The gahhhhlic pizza is AMAZING! I have yet to try something that I didn’t love! The prices are more than fair.The staff are all so friendly, the owner is always there for everything from greeting you with a smile to fixing a crooked place setting- give it a go- you will thank me!
It was my first time here and the food was fantastic! I mean really fantastic. We started out with a salad, then had the artichoke appetizer, and both were excellent. We had the pizza with arugula, prosciutto amd mozzarella. The last time I had pizza that good was when I was in Italy. We had the spumoni for dessert, and it was terrific! This place is a little gem tucked away in South Philly. Service was friendly and excellent. I will be back! Ciao!
Marra’s was closed so we decided to try LaScala. We were impressed from the start with good house wines. We had the fried Burrata and it didn’t disappoint. For our Pizza we chose the short rib and Margherita. Delicious…
