This might be a hole in the wall restaurant in Chinatown, but it has the best BBQ in town. The BBQ pork (roast pork) is stellar, with great bean paste flavors beside the usual five spice, soy, honey. Roast duck, soy sauce chicken and the ginger and scallion chickens are all outstanding and authentic. Great prices too.

We've been enjoying home delivery from Lau Kee for many years. Yesterday we dined-in at their small yet busy Philly Chinatown location for the first time. Their food is excellent from delivery. It's even better right out of the kitchen. Unpretentious, with quick, responsive service.

Our gold standard for roast duck and Peking duck. Other excellent dishes include soy sauce chicken, roast pork and crispy pork. Prices have risen, miss the days of wallet friendly takeout, but at Lau Kee the food is worth it.
