We were booked for high tea (reservation made weeks ahead of time) They clearly were not expecting us Nothing was set up. We were the only couple at the tea We were given a small menu and told “ this is what will be served” it is not what was served Instead of roast beef with horseradish and pear with blue cheese we were served 1 round bread with a tomato slice and a cheese slice, that we had to split, and 1 sandwich that was bread spread thinly with white hummus and cut into 2 triangles The dessert espresso cream puff was still frozen when we tried to eat it and was not espresso The Palmier was so hard you could not bite it or break off a piece The whole experience was a let down I love high tea and they are hard to find a place that serves them and clearly this place shouldn't
Such an amazing experience! My Fiancé and I were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to try a new spot. The waiter knew it was our anniversary and welcomed us with champagne at our table. The service was superb and the food was delicious! We're going again very soon!
The scones at tea were very good-make sure you ask to have the clotted cream and curd because it doesn't come out with the food right away. The savory sandwiches are not that great—a little stale and dry. Avoid the salmon. The croque monsiur is probably the highlight of that - tastes like a ham and cheese toastie but also looks like something you can make yourself at home. Out of the desserts-I liked the raspberry cake best. Servers were nice, polite and accommodating though the whole affair felt a bit disorganized, so maybe it was the first time there was a Mother's Day tea there. Like it felt like everyone's food came out at the same time even though people arrived at different times? When we got there it was weird to find someone to be seated. Also the hotel called me on Friday to confirm, but when I called back they were like “Why did you call?” And I was like “I don't know but you called me?”
We are glad to have found this restaurant last minute on Ooen Table ... it was everything that we had hoped for!
This is my third visit for Tea, and it was FANTASTIC. Our server was so great, he made us feel very special. The tea sandwiches were all so fresh and tasted so good. SCones are always a hit and the pastries were perfection. The tea selection was so nice. We will be back!!!!!
Took my 94 year old grandmother for tea service for her birthday because she loves that and our experience was very poor. We were ignored for 15 min and when I questioned it they stated they were waiting for our entire party to come. I think you greet the table to see if we wanted drinks etc. The double cream had a hair in it ... I called the server over quietly so others at the table would t notice but barely got an apology and no offer to take anything off the bill. The food was ok... the pear and Gorgonzola had way too much cheese. The desserts were not that impressive. But the worst part was the valet. The guy said we could pay him cash or if we wanted to use a card we could pay inside. When we handed him the ticket and wanted to pay him the cash like he said and he went to get our car but never came back. We asked and were told they could t find my car. It took 35 min and ultimately the valet manager said that they never take cash and that appeared to be a scam that the guy was running. They eventually found my car and apologized but the entire experience at this hotel / restaurant was really horrible.
We had a large group and it was a Saturday night. I'm so glad the acoustics were such that we could hear each other! Lovely ambience!
Had a lovely dinner with the family while staying the night. The atmosphere was great, the service was attentive, and the food was delicious. We tried the pork belly and seabass, both were fantastic! The place has a fresh, modern vibe and feels lively.
We went to the Valentine's Saturday afternoon tea. Great experience and atmosphere. Tea was good, but would've liked it it was hotter. It cooled down fast. Food was fine except for the pear and blue cheese sandwich which was the largest thing on the plate. It was awful. The server was great and very knowledgable about the teas and the menu. All in all was really nice and we enjoyed it, but please replace the pear and blue cheese sandwich! Ugh!
Our server Chris made the experience special - he was awesome! Food was really delicious and plentiful. It's really a lovely space and a lot of fun being in the lobby of a busy hotel. We will return soon and are grateful for a very special Valentine dinner!

I visited Liberté Lounge for the Restaurant Week lunch special, which was just $20. The location was unbeatable, with beautiful natural lighting at the entrance, and the food was incredible! I started with the butternut squash soup, which was rich in flavor and paired perfectly with a toasted baguette. For the main course, I had the trout, which was absolutely delightful—it had perfectly crispy skin and was served with flavorful Brussels sprouts. The highlight of the experience was our server! Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but he was incredibly attentive, friendly, and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. While this visit was just for lunch, I'm already looking forward to coming back for happy hour in the near future—$20 champagne by the glass sounds like my kind of place! Plus, the Liberté cocktail looks fantastic too! :)
The food is very good. I am staying at the hotel and have eaten at Liberte three times. Each time was very good, on one visit I had one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. I was concerned on the first night because the place was almost empty -- freezing cold Monday night. I braced myself for a bad hotel meal and was very pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but it is easy, delicious and reasonably priced if you're staying at the hotel.
Just what we wanted, quiet, with good food at a reasonable price. We would go again. Service was excellent.
This restaurant is a must see for any foodies living or visiting Philadelphia. The executive chef Sylva Senat was featured on top Chef and is a two times James Beard nominee, so he knows his way around a kitchen. Everything from the drinks, food desserts, vibe of the restaurant, and service were all outstanding.
For drinks, my wife enjoyed the city love and foreign exchange I really liked the Kronenberg Beer. For an appetizer we had the Pikliz A Griot -
Spicy Slaw, Twice-Cooked Pork Belly. Our mains were the Poached Wild Halibut and the 14oz Prime NY Strip with Truffle fries 🤤. We saved space somehow for dessert and loved both the La Forêt Noire and Tarte au Citron. I cannot wait to come back

I love the new design and menu. It's fairly quiet for a hotel lobby. At least ln weekdays. Service was good.
