This restaurant is a must see for any foodies living or visiting Philadelphia. The executive chef Sylva Senat was featured on top Chef and is a two times James Beard nominee, so he knows his way around a kitchen. Everything from the drinks, food desserts, vibe of the restaurant, and service were all outstanding.
For drinks, my wife enjoyed the city love and foreign exchange I really liked the Kronenberg Beer. For an appetizer we had the Pikliz A Griot -
Spicy Slaw, Twice-Cooked Pork Belly. Our mains were the Poached Wild Halibut and the 14oz Prime NY Strip with Truffle fries 🤤. We saved space somehow for dessert and loved both the La Forêt Noire and Tarte au Citron. I cannot wait to come back

Waited over 15 minutes for service, finally gave up and left. Did not seem worth the wait.

Great first time experience at Liberte Lounge! Went for CCD Restaurant Week and to celebrate my friend's birthday. Our server Chris made the evening special. He was very attentive and kind. The food was delicious. I will definitely be going back the next time I'm visiting the city.
Not your typical dining area, till you sit down. Very open, lounge feel but the seating to the side feels intimate. Limited menu which I appreciate- both had the filet, excellent. Wine list interesting and house expert helped us choose. Very pleasant evening in a beautiful hotel.
Amazing time in the new bar, it looks stunning, both cocktails and food were delicious and friendly service

Lounge and restaurant of the sofitel Rittenhouse hotel. Elegant , good food, only complaint is valet area is very small, so can be a while getting your car and tight loading/unloading. It's center city Philadelphia, not sure what can be done.

I ordered a beer. It came without a glass. When I asked for one, the bartender had an attitude.
My wife wanted to pay corkage for her wine. The bartender said no, and then said his manager said corkage is illegal. Of course, we knew better.
We decided to leave and went to Louie Louie on the Penn campus. We had a terrific meal, and of course paid corkage.
The bar tender at the Sofitel was a jerk. Avoid the place.

Christos was friendly, exceedingly knowledgeable, efficient, and responsive. He also provided great appetizer and cocktail recommendations. The crab cake entree and the burger were delicious. Kudos to the chef and the entire team for a memorable experience!
Food was pretty good, service is ok. Location is ok but it's inside a hotel next to the lobby, you have to walk through a hotel and tske steps to a second floor to use the bathroom. And the vibe is weird since it looks more like a hotel lobby than a restaurant. There are many other better options in the city at this price point. But this place is not bad.

I love the atmosphere at Liberte because it's quiet, the food is quite good and service is good as well. It has gotten very expensive for lunch. Sixty dollars for a salad and sandwich seems a bit much. Nevertheless, if you want a conversation with your lunch companion in pleasant surroundings, you can't beat it.
Two very knowledge mixologists treated me to an evening of new flavor discovery.Thank you so much.

Chris the waiter handled our large group with an excellent level of kindness and professionalism. Someone else took care of us one night, and we all missed having our "normal" waiter! Pricy but nice drinks, mixed well. Good vibes!
We were guests in the hotel, so we patronized a few times. Once for dinner. The chicken was wonderful. My husband refuses to eat any pickled item, and he love the cucumbers! Our waiter was so friendly, just loved him! We were in the lounge a few times during our stay. One waiter was a bit curt, but was prompt. Another bartender was fantastic, so friendly to everyone in our group. Was nice to sit in the air conditioning while it was so hot during our stay and just watch the people pass as we enjoyed our drinks.
