We visited here with our friends to see what all the hype was about. The location was questionable and the parking was terrible but expected I guess for the location. On first impression it was ok. Bar area looked good but the restaurant was very small and tight. Table and chairs were super cramped. We found it hard to book a table of 4 at 5pm and I see why now. The food quantity was far but have a Polish wife I can safely say most of the food didn’t taste polish. Definitely more an American twist. Lots of usual sides missed off. Overall the food tasted average but the interior was just too cramped and didn’t feel comfy. Wouldn’t make the trip again unfortunately

Admittedly, not having had a ton of Polish food, I never really considered it a meal that would really blow me away. However, I was really nicely surprised in the end by the meal had here.
The menu is small but seems to change a good amount seasonally, which is nice (that being said at the end I didn't feel like there was anything I would necessarily come back for on the current menu). It was a great start to be given complimentary lovely bread with two delicious spreads: an herbal butter and a cream with chichcahron-type topping (the former was by far the superior). Started with sałatka cykoria, which was a really nice salad. I appreciated the texture a lot with the breadcrumbs and the buttermilk dressing was nice-it was also a healthy portion. Next came the special of the night pierogi, which was filled with cheese and mushrooms. The potatoes and the mushrooms were divine-I honestly would not have known that there was cheese unless I had been told. The pierogies themselves were huge but I do wish that the sauce was a bit more present as it was quite scarce. Finally, the pork shoulder kiełbasa was awesome. Big fan of homemade mustard and this was a great blend of tart/spice that did well for the dish especially when garnished with the pickles. For the main, we got the monkfish. This was actually my least favorite dish as I felt the fish itself, while flaky and tender, was a bit plain. The shrimp kiełbasa and mushrooms it came with really saved it.
The place overall is a bit cramped. There are steps up to the restaurant and down to the bathroom, so be careful as it is quite easy to trip. The drink menu didn't really do much for me and I wasn't so inspired by any of the wine/beer options. Service was friendly and fairly attentive to water refills. Overall, definitely worth a try at least once, especially reiterated by being on the NYT top 50 US restaurants this year.

Best pork I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious. Also good pierogies. It’s like, elevated polish food. Delicious, elevated, and delicious. I’m not polish but it was good. Would recommend to any non-polish people and polish people I.e. everyone

Food was below average for polish food and service was delayed and extremely low energy. Whole experience felt diminished. Would not reccomend.

Restaurant charged me a $50 cancellation fee for cancelling with 4.5 hours of notice and has refused to respond to emails regarding this matter. I strongly recommend staying away from a place that treats its customer like this! Do NOT recommend

Went with a group of friends and shared a bunch of dishes family style. Everything was fantastic and standouts were the pierogi and the soup with kielbasa. Such a cozy spot, definitely want to go back in the winter.
I’m always eager to try a newly opened restaurant in Philly, and this one especially because I haven’t been to many Polish restaurants!
It’s a cozy, corner bar-like restaurant. We ended up sitting at the bar and service was quick. Mikayla was very knowledgeable about the menu.
The pierogi were phenomenal. Soft and pillowy, but still a little bit crisp. The kielbasa was a second favorite, smoky and salty. The mustard and pickle cut through the richness of the kielbasa, perfect dish. The chicken cutlet was good, not great. I don’t think I’d get it again.
One thing we did not like was the smalec served with the bread. It is rendered pork fat and not something I’m personally into. I much preferred the dill butter.
Overall, I had a good experience but would come back only during happy hour as the prices during regular dinner would be high for what you are getting.

Tonight, I had a date night at the critically acclaimed Little Walter's in Kensington ?????
One of the best damn meals I had this year. Sustainable, farm-to-table, all made in-house Polish cuisine that's flavorful, memorable, and splendid. Everything in here makes sense and it's as relaxed in its vibe as it is effortless in its great service. Go now. And yes, their perogies are outstanding -- tremendously. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cute little place. Food was fine, although not exceptional. Menu offered only four main entree choices and does not include some of the traditional dishes we were hoping to order (golabki, kapusta). The pork and the chicken dishes were acceptable; the kielbasa was a bit dry. The potato pierogies were pretty standard. (One of my dinner companions compared them to Mrs. T's.) Nothing really stood out, except the chocolate/peanut butter dessert pierogies.
