Everything about this dining experience is brag worthy! The ambiance, the food, the service and the entertainment. Everyone was accommodating from the time we arrive until the time we e left. Definitely will return!

Happy hour M-F 3-6p is a nice new treat to center city. Great beer selections for $5, fewer wines for $8 and cocktails for $10. Loch burger ($9) was worth every penny and when they're not sold out, get it, this does not disappoint. Tuna poke ($8) was decent, probably could use a few avocado cubes and less soy sauce. Not pictured are the fried oysters ($8) which you get 3 served on oyster shells and are perfectly fried - get them. Roasted oysters ($7) which you get 3 are pretty good too but left me wanting oysters rockefeller elsewhere. Definitely pop in for happy hour, stay tuned for a few main menu reviews at a future time. The best fish and chips I have ever had. Love fish and chips and just recently went to what was rated the best in Scotland at The We Chippy in Anstruther where the fish and chips were very good. Loch Bars' fish and chips are in a whole other stratosphere. The batter was light and crunchy with a perfect crackle and just the right amount of salt while the fish was perfectly cooked moist and tender and the chips just perfect.

wow this place is so cute and intimate! The food is soooooo good , it's not pricey, and they also give you a lot for the amount. I wish I would've gotten a photo of the chicken ceaser salad that they had prepared for us , it was so delicious one of the best salads that my husband and I had in a long time. Also, it was fulfilling, but it left just enough room for us to eat our other appetizer which was these delicious fried oysters wow when I say chef kiss! i absolutely mean chef kiss, the crab cakes were so tender and in my picture below you will see that I have two but you do have the option to get an single crab cake or double and the only way for me to go since I'm an foodie is to do double and BOYYYY! nothing about their food their customer service let me down. I would definitely go again!

First time here and we had brunch. Cool atmosphere and very clean. We shared the artichoke app which honestly was not good. There was just no meat on the leaves and the heart was small and hard. Sauce was yummy though. This dish was computed and manager ho early appreciated our feedback. Two of had the crab cake sandwich which had huge hunks of meat. It was perhaps the best I've ever had. The others had the frittata which they said was delicious and it certainly looked it. We shared the brownie dessert which was worth every bite I can't wait to return!

The ambiance and food here are amazing! David was our waiter for a table of two and he was very attentive. It was my first time and I definitely want to come back! We had the fried lobster tails, crab dip, and crab cakes. Chef's kiss!

The food and service was mediocre to average. It was a lot of buck and no bang. Spent $300 on dinner for two and nothing was memorable or would make me say I would give it another try. Which is sad because Philly really really needs a good high-end seafood restaurant.

We really loved our experience at Loch Bar. Evan the bar tender was amazing and you can tell he is excellent at his craft. Service once we were sat was spot on. The live music was nice and my sea bass was amazing. I definitely will be back.

Amazing service by David! Highly recommend! The raw bar was the best I have ever had (Florida born and raised!) looming forward to the next time! Have the charcuterie board! # raw bar!

Such squandered potential for this very pretty space! The service was absolutely dreadful. It seemed as if only one server was working. In situations like this usually youd see them hussling and apologetic. But she gave zero effort. 20minutes to be acknowledged at the table though she walked by once or twice while waiting. The flour wasnt cooked out in either the mac and cheese or the Croque so that was disappointing. Cobb salad was decent albeit underdressed. The manager was attempting to pick up the slack for the server but what would have gone further is them acknowledging their shortcomings that day. My dining companion said she had terrible service at dinner there as well so it seems like they need to get their acts together. For the price point the experience should be much much better.

Came to the Loch Bar for happy hour at the end of February to meet up with a social group. The place is aesthetically pleasing. It's like sitting in an upscale seafood market with a classic retro feel. The group came in around 3:30-4:00pm which wasn't busy at all! Which was great because I was starving. I was expecting to have a great time because it was my first time at LB and it's a newer restaurant. Well that quickly went downhill as the bartender did not greet or acknowledge me despite there being a lull at the bar. I initiated the greeting and proceeded to place my order. Twenty minutes later when one dish came out and the other item that I order never did. I found out that she only put in one item. I decided to move over to the extended bar seating area located in the middle of the restaurant to chat with a friend. I made the bartender aware that I was moving and she acknowledged that it was ok for me to do so and that I wouldn't have issues ordering anything. I placed another order only to find out that my food was sitting at the bar for god knows how long and my food was cold. Her attitude the entire time was not hospitable or professional. To make matters worse. The manager that was working that afternoon was unpleasant to say the least. I didn't bother talking to her because she was already discussing the horrible service we received with another customer. I'm not sure how anyone working in a SERVICE industry doesn't understand the importance of good customer service. That goes for the bartender and manager. Anywho the food was great but the service was HORRIBLE!
