The quintessential local Italian spot for the Passyunk warriors out there like myself. I have to stop myself from the impulse of getting a sandwich most days when I am on my way home or they might have to start rolling me down Passyunk. Top tier ingredients that I can tell are imported with thought and purpose, great menu choices, and staff with that local charm. Might have my last meal be a pint container of their San Marzano Calabrian cream sauce served by a ladle.

Everything you could expect from a South Philly Italian Deli. No nonsense- just fantastic ingredients and great sandwiches. All the favorites are here- classic Italian, roast pork, chicken cutlet with sharp provolone and broccoli robbe, fresh sliced mozzarella… perfect example of a classic neighborhood hoagie / sandwich shop.

Consistently amazing every single time!! Cannot recommend enough! I’ve tried so many different things on the menu and never had a miss here. Even their size “small” hoagies are a killer portion. Love these guys!! True artisans.
