Really great Philadelphia find! Great atmosphere to study or work, good ambiance music. Tasty sandwiches and lots of snack options! Matcha was more on the bitter side which is not for me but would highly recommend and come back!

Madis is my fave center city coffee place. Firstly, and most importantly, they have excellent coffee, which they roast right there on site. Secondly, they have an extensive menu that includes things with protein, unlike many coffee places that just have pastries. You can get eggs, avocado, toast, real sandwiches, healthy salads with quinoa, etc. Finally, it’s a great atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor tables, an also places to plug in electronics. I live in Washington Square, and it’s super convenient and I’m so glad they’re there.

I love Madis’ Coffee - rarely would I believe anyone who boasts of serving “the world’s best cup of coffee” but Madis comes pretty close. It was a delicious brew with plenty of inside and outdoor seating. It is expensive but, nowhere these days isn’t. A nice place for a solid cup of coffee when in Philadelphia. It was just as tasty at the downtown location as well.
