It was almost closing time, so I didn't have many options. I got the pepper steak over rice; it came with cabbage and mac and cheese as sides. The sides were kinda bland. Overall, it was a 6.5 out of 10.

The lady at the front has a nasty attitude very ignorant and rude got into an argument with her the food is not even worth the hassle
I was just passing through close to Temple and wanted Caribbean food. If you are not familiar with poverty and urban environments, you will have culture shock driving thru to the restaurant. But I go where the locals go! This place is takeout only.
The food is delicious. We had curry chicken and oxtails. And sooooo much food for the price. The service is good and lady was very helpful.
The spot could use a good scrubbing but it matches the neighborhood. The friendliness and service makes up for the grimy parts.

Omg maxwell is the best. You gotta try there turkey wings and rice, stewed chicken, jerk wings, curry goat pepper steak and rice and oxtails. It's crazy. I love it.

One napkin no straw no spoon like are you serious , The counter woman has got to be slow , I told her my order and she just looked at me and didn’t say anything for like a whole 10 seconds then repeated what I said and still didn’t understand , then proceeded to tell me that the dinner special was $11 and she goes you get two sides so I get curry chicken mac & cheese and rice she goes that’s gonna be 1250. I go. You just said it was $11. She goes you just added aside I’m like because you said it comes with two sides. I’m confused. Just a bunch of Mumbo jumbo was so annoyed talking to her
