The food and service at Melograno are excellent as always. It is our neighborhood favorite, and we seem to celebrate our birthdays and anniversaries there on a regular basis. You are always made to feel at home. Even with a pretty large menu there are always daily specials which are interesting and worth a try. I tried the cauliflower appetizer with an interesting sauce which was excellent. My husband and highly recommend Melograno and will be returning there again soon.

Dinner here feels like a mini getaway to Italy, with rustic dishes and a warm, intimate vibe. I can’t get enough of their handmade pasta.

I've been dining at Melograno since it opened over 20 years ago and the food and service remain top-notch. We had a party of 5 last night and all our appetizers and entrees were delicious. I started out with the polpo which was very tender and charred perfectly. Although I've ordered the tartufate numerous times, I never get tired of eating this dish because it's honestly my favorite pasta dish ever. The marriage of mushrooms, walnuts and pecorino is the perfect blend.

We visited on a early Saturday night during the long weekend and had a wonderful experience. The staff here are incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. The mushroom pasta was bursting with flavor and had an amazing aroma. We also loved the unique appetizer, which was a delightful surprise and set the tone for a fantastic meal.

The noodles were a little too al dente and I was not a fan of the sauce. I think they were just doing too much. Fantastic service though.

The pinsa—a Roman version of the more commonly known Italian pizza—was not only nothing like the original Roman recipe, it resembled a bad pizza and tasted even worse. It was borderline inedible. As an Italian, born and raised in Italy, I found it disturbing and unacceptable. I may be picky, but I recently had an excellent pinsa at an Italian restaurant in Clearwater, Florida. Melograno should consider removing the sign outside that reads “pinseria.”

It was our 3rd time there (and we don't live in Philly) and it was amazing as the others. The service was very nice and the food was amazing. Because our previous experience, my wife selected there to celebrate her birthday and we left very satisfied with our choice. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Single diner and I was immediately escorted to my table. Service was prompt and informal. I had the polpo appetizer, absolutely perfect. Then the papardelle with fungi, truffles and walnuts and it was out of this world delicious. I did not realize it was a BYOB restaurant, but a young couple at the next table kindly shared a glass of their wine with me. Would def go back if in Philly again.

One of our favorite BYO's in the city. Small menu, but everything is prepared to perfection. Our waiter, Joe is the best!

We always enjoy the food. Service is exceptional. Noise level is lowest early at the front window.

Food excellent and service. Get the meatballs, arugula salad and the burrata for apps. Very loud noise level though made it difficult to talk.
