Me and my partner went to Melograno yesterday for Valentine’s Day. Sadly, after we got home, we both felt nauseous. I think it was because of the tiramisu. When I tasted it, it had an odd flavor, but I wasn’t sure if it had gone bad at the time. Now I think it probably had. It was also overpriced for what you get that day, and the food quality was poor overall.

Service was superb, waitress and host were super nice and friendly. Went over the menu with us and did a great job with serving the food. Loved their pasta and tiramisu. Great place to visit!

The food was incredible and fresh. We had an early reservation and the food came out so quick. Service was impeccable and everything is made in house. The cacio e pepe and tiramisu were my personal favorites. Cozy vibe with candles and romantic lighting. Will definitely be back!

Came during restaurant week and was not impressed. Restaurant seemed understaffed and underprepared. Was nearly 45 minutes before we even placed our order - we were sat down, then had to wait 10 minutes for menus. Then they realized they gave us the wrong menus - add another 10 minutes. Waiter explains the specials - then wait another 10 minutes. Time waiting for food was also very lengthy. Could have easily been there for 3 hours if we didn't stay on top of them, which is annoying considering parking limitations. Food wasn't worth the wait. If you told me me papardelle was Beef Stroganoff Hamburger Helper, you could have fooled me. Apps were just okay. To be fair, the tiramisu was a great end to the meal - more of a pudding than a cake, but I like the direction they took it. Staff were nice and ambiance was okay, but there are much better BYOB Italian Restaurants in Philly.

***DISCLAIMER THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR SERVER/WAIT STAFF*** My group had a really disappointing experience here. We were dining for about an hour and twenty minutes and our server was perfect! She told us to take our time which we greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, the manager had a very different attitude. A group waiting near the entrance kept eyeing our table, and we later realized the manager had promised it to them. The moment we finished our dessert — after also ordering four entrées. He came over and abruptly told us we needed to leave because he had people waiting.
It felt rushed, uncomfortable, and completely unprofessional. If there’s a time limit, just say so upfront. Being told to “stay as long as you want” by a server and then pushed out by management is not how a restaurant should treat paying customers. We ended up spending a total of an hour and 25 minutes there when we all have spent way longer at other restaurants. We won’t be returning.
