This is one of the BEST restaurants in Philly! Excellent service, spectacular food, and cool interior design. I love coming here!
Nina was an amazing epicurean guide and server, she really improved our experience! The space was groovy, with chill party vibes that made me feel right at home. The popcorn was to die for, not to mention the endless (vegetarian) Caesar salad and fries. The tofu sammie was crispy and packed with flavor, even my omnivorous friends were envious.
One of the best bloodies I've had. Pair it with the Love city lager, a truly iconic duo.
Came in early last week ordered the pastrami egg and cheese with a pancake. Pancake was good and fluffy kind of tasted like lemon bread or maybe it was the sauce. The eggs in my sandwich were also fluffy and light. I preferred the sriracha mayo sauce over chipotle mustard with it though. Wife really loved her Iced chai latte w honey cinnamon (and she’s really picky w coffee). All in all it was a good breakfast.
such a great place!
Very fine dining experience for a good price. Latkes stole the show. Burger was very very good. And the key lime pie was my favorite
Went for brunch mid morning on a Saturday. We waited in line for about 15-20 minutes. They are very efficient with the ordering process. You order before you sit down. They were fast bringing out the food. I think the food was just mediocre. The breakfast sandwich was on the bland side. The pancake was more of a cake with a grainier texture. It has a nice orange essence flavor but was drowned in syrup. The latkas were definitely the standout. I do enjoy their simple decor but did find it to be loud and chaotic since people were seating themselves. They were crispy and well seasoned. I'd hesitate to go again especially if the line were longer than 15 minutes (which it usually is on weekends).
Everything was great! Menu is clearly labelled for food restrictions and gluten free options. Staff is knowledgable and helpful every step of the way. Would recommend!
So good I ate here two nights in a row … with only 3 nights in Philly (😅) The staff / service were amazing; super speedy too. The food was seriously, seriously good. Some of the best I’ve had in a while. I had the latke with trout roe both days-zero regrets. The crab and uni pasta was incredibly delicious. Shout out the carrot dreamsical juice / mocktail, too. A sweet dream indeed 🥕
one of
the coolest, most delicious spots in town. every item os so thought out, and executed to perfection. the drinks are amazing, and the place has the

This place was worth the hype. The pancakes are better than you can imagine and the vibes are immaculate. Also had their pastrami egg and cheese sandwich and the “Latka’d” hashbrowns. Everything was perfect and I want to go back soooooo bad, wish I lived closer. Oh I also tried a couple of their non-alcoholic drinks and was happy I did. One of the pics is of the breakfast juice they make and the other is the strawberry milk matcha. Soooo yummy!

Middle Child is a Philadelphia staple and it's easy to see why. The breakfast burrito, chef's kiss, the pastrami breakfast sandwich, out of this world, the pancake, best in Philadelphia hands down.

My wife and I had an absolutely phenomenal dinner at Middle Child Clubhouse. From start to finish, we were blown away by the ambiance, service, and the incredible food and drinks.
We tried a variety of dishes: the crudo, beets, maitake mushrooms with a crispy egg, and their two New Year specials—roasted chicken thigh with caviar and lobster spaghetti with black truffle. Every single bite was sexy, delicious, and out of this world! I also asked for the dirtiest, nastiest, FILTHEST martini ever, and they delivered in the best way possible.
The staff really set the experience apart. They were personable, attentive, informative, and just radiated good energy.
Seriously… did I just find my new favorite restaurant?

Not worth the hype if you saw on social media.
The restaurant is a stand-up-to-order service. Staff will bring you the food but that’s about it. You wait at the check out to order. You will need to box your own food. But at the end, staff will bus your table. The annoying part is a part of 6 will have a 20% gratuity charge on the tab. When checking out, the convenient option is 20% as minimum unless you want to custom your tips, which is something I do but not my boyfriend because he doesn’t want people to wait. This isn’t LA so I’m not sure why the outrageous charge if I stand up to order.
We have a miso coffee which was good. But obviously it is not the best coffee I have had because I’m Vietnamese. 4/5
Burrito 2/5. The eggs are truly fluffy but the pickled jalapeños make the burrito tastes horrible. Some bites are delicious, many bites suck. There are too many jalapeños and pickled juices, overpowering the entire burrito. At the end, it was full blown jalapeños for me, leaving a pungent taste in my mouth.
Pancake 3/5. The pancakes are photogenic and look cute. But that’s about it. They are nothing more than ordinary pancakes with a hint of citrus taste. It is overall so average for a pancake.
The theme of the restaurant is cute though with many green items. However, This is not a restaurant I would come back or remember for its fantasticalness, but rather for how the tipping service is and too much jalapeños.
