We had a really tasty meal here. The Fulsi (steak sandwich) and Caesar salad were great and the nutter butter beignets were excellent too. Really enjoyed the food.
Really great drinks and atmosphere, pretty good food. Some really interesting dishes, but didn’t get to try them all.
In town for the Ghost concert at The Wells Fargo Center today🩵🖤🩵🖤Just ordered the vegan philly cheesesteak and Caesar salad. I'm vegetarian. Love the spooky theme of the restaurant, the food is fire💀👻
We found this restaurant during our trip to Philadelphia. It had a nice atmosphere and delicious food. We ordered the happy hour bruschetta as an appetizer — it was fresh and flavorful. The BIRRIA cheesesteak and General Tso’s sandwich were great too. Unfortunately, we were too full to try any desserts. The service was fast and excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive (but not overbearing). We will definitely be back the next time we're in Philadelphia.
If I were eating on vibes alone, it would be 5 stars, but the food is what’s important here. We had the half Cobb salad, exorcist fries, and double smash burger to go, which is why we don’t have any pics. The Caesar dressing for the Cobb included a giant piece of tofu and was the most unpleasant vegan dressing I’ve ever tried. The salad itself probably would’ve been fine if the dressing was good. The exorcist fries was something I thought would be spicy, but it wasn’t. There was seasoning for sure — I kept wiping it off my fingers, but it definitely was not spicy. Again, the sauce was lackluster. The cheese sauce was gloopy and got worse as it cooled. The cilantro aioli was good, it reminded me of something from my pre-vegan days. The smash burger was meh. The fried onion was way too thick and weirdly flavored. The burger itself had little flavor. I want flavors that make you excited to eat, not… sustenance. Especially if I’m spending $50 on food. Sustenance could be from the grocery store or a gas station, but restaurant food should be exciting.
The drink was very good (phantasm on VHS), the petit lasagna was delicious (10/10). The Korean bbq wings were good (8/10), i would stick to pasta and not get a cheesesteak. The owner was amazing, btw. Great atmosphere, would def come back again for their drinks and pasta. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-16
We were very surprised about this restaurant. It’s a sit down and was more fancy than we imagined. Everything was tasty and delicious.
It I died any went to Heaven, I wouldn’t find any better food than at Monster.
Best vegan food in america 🩷 so delicious.
This is a very cool place. I’m definitely going to come back and try this place for dinner, but today I ducked in to get an order of beignets. They have Oreo or Nutter butter beignets. I opted for the Oreo, based on the recommendation of the server. They were made fresh quickly and they were very tasty. Three donut hole sized beignets were $9. For that price, for beignets that size, I personally feel an order should be at least four or five. That’s just my opinion.

The food is top notch as are their themed cocktails. But, as a diehard horror fan, I expected a bit more from the ambiance. The music is lame and not horror at all. The majority of the decorations also fail to hit the mark. It is as though the wanted something horror related but tried too hard to thread that needle and make it family friendly. Had they leaned into the Universal Monsters they would've hit the mark entirely. Overall, great food and cocktails but the theme just doesn't hit like it should. Amazing atmosphere, phenomenal staff, and possibly the best food I’ve ever had. Lots of great drink options too. Cannot overstate how much I enjoyed this restaurant.

Some of the best vegan food on the planet. Exceptionally friendly staff. My only recommendation would be to not sit too close to or facing the massive screens that play schlocky horror films on repeat as they can get distracting if you want to focus on having a conversation with others. But the food here is truly exceptional.
