So, we wanted to try this new coffee spot in Mt. Airy. It was bright and busy at lunchtime. I enjoyed a soft, chewy bagel with whitefish salad - piled high with fresh, crisp vegs. And, Ultimo coffee .. strong and piping hot ! Will return !
Great little spot. Glad to have this in the neighborhood!Vegetarian options: The food menu is mostly vegetarian pastries, bagels with spreads (jam, cream cheese, hummus), and bagel sandwiches. Most things are vegetarian except the sandwiches, but there is still a vegetarian option there. They have alternate milks for drinks if you are vegan.

Got a chocolate croissant and a cortado with whole milk. Pastries appear to be the same as at Weaver's Way co-op, and are tasty but not outstanding. If you're looking for a crisp and flakey croissant experience, you'll need to go elsewhere, but as a sweet bite to go with coffee, they are perfectly fine. Mt. Airy Coffee gets their coffee beans from Ultimo, a good local roaster, and the cortado had the lighter, more modern-style flavor I would expect from Ultimo's coffee. Though...read full review
