I was visiting Philly and after the Terminal Market closed, my local friend walked me over to this spot for some authentic Chinese food—and wow, she did not disappoint. We were seated right away around 6pm, and there was plenty of space.

She ordered the regular noodles, and I went with the medium spice. I debated using a fork but stuck with chopsticks—with moderate success! The first dip into the soupy noodles hit me with a burst of coriander, and it immediately felt like home. The meat was tender and melt-in-your-mouth perfect.

The staff were attentive, constantly refilling our glasses with icy water, which was a great touch. I left completely satisfied—like Scooby after a Scooby Snack! I don’t know the exact price since my friend treated me, but it felt like great value. Plus, I got to explore Philly’s Chinatown. Absolutely worth the trek.

Some of the seating in the restaurant is tight so I chose to sit by the front near the door. I ordered hand pulled noodles with some beef and added chili oil with hot sauce. I enjoyed my bowl couldn’t even finish it cause it was so much food. The soy egg I got I didn’t like it was rubbery and chewy. The coconut chicken dumplings were amazing. The wife liked her noodles however she did not like the texture of her chicken she preferred it be some type of shredded for soup.

wholesome and tasty food, and the attentive but not overbearing service makes this place a cozy spot to dine and relax. The smoothies are also amazing and fruity. The food feels like comfort food, and is perfect whether you’re sick or well. Cash-only (or Venmo).

A little pricey on the noodle side, compared to other restaurants, especially being cash only. However, still very good. The scallion pancake was my favorite.

Consistently delicious every time I've come. Great service. Always quick. Every time I bring someone new the house special keeps them coming back for more.

I’ve actually written this review before over a month ago but it was removed — which is disappointing, because feedback should be heard, not hidden.

My girlfriend and I came in hoping for a good meal and a relaxed experience. We were seated by a very kind and professional woman who treated us with genuine warmth and gave great service. Unfortunately, a male staff member later took over, and the entire tone of the service changed.

While he was polite at first, things quickly became uncomfortable. When the bill came, we were still pulling out cash to tip — which we fully intended to do — when he abruptly circled a tip amount on the receipt in front of us, clearly implying what we should leave. It came off as demanding, not respectful. And the strange part? He wasn’t even our original server.

That kind of pressure around tipping not only felt rude, but also disrespectful to the original server who actually gave good service. It completely soured the experience.

To be fair, the food was okay — not terrible, but definitely average. Nothing stood out enough to make up for the uncomfortable interaction.

I’m not writing this out of bitterness, just honesty. If reviews keep getting removed, that says a lot more about how feedback is handled than about the people leaving it.
