Ngon Ngon is definitely yummy yummy. The pho broth was flavorful, meats tender and everything seemed clean and fresh. Amongst a ton of Vietnamese places, ngon ngon does shine well. The pho came out hot and the appetizers we ordered the fried squid, which I think was really well done and seasoned! The prices are on the higher end of viet places and it's a small place but in Bella Vista. I would totally come back again. What would bring it a 5 star is if it had fresh noodles and a separate giant bone and shank like I had in San Diego. The bone was good but it would've been nice to had more meat.

Loveeee! Wasn't sure how it was going to compare to our usual spot but the pho broth was really flavorful plus the meat to noodle ratio was so good I had a ton of leftovers. The breakfast bahn mi also tasted good and fun to make. Iced coffee also met my expectations. So excited they filled a void in this neighborhood. Small ish spot and we only saw one cook but it didn't take too long for our meals to come out.

This was the most flavorful phí³ I've had in a while and the filet mignon was nice and tender. It was nice to have a better quality meat than offered at other places. I was expecting to get some bean sprouts, herbs and lime with my pho and was disappointed that my order came with out it. The delivery was very fast and the flavor made up for the disappointment. I re-heated the broth on the stove before adding it to the noodles and it was great. The papaya salad was also very good.

I have to say this is indeed some good pho. I came here by myself after having a craving for some hot noodle soup. The place itself is pretty small with two tables facing the window and a couple chairs for people to wait for take out. I came on a rainy day a bit after they opened so it was empty. It was a bit awkward coming by myself cause if you dine in you're facing the window on a high stool, but after I got my bowl of pho, I was all in eat it. I got the small size of the pho special and it was more than enough. They're very generous with the meat and noodles as well as the bean sprouts, basil, limes. And the broth was oh so flavorful I didn't have to add anything to it. I'd come back here definitely for take out.

I really love the food here. Its some of the most flavorful Pho I've ever had. I've tried the standard, the filet, and the chicken and broccoli....all are savory and delicious. However, the restaurant itself has a weird ambiance and the service is a little slow. But, I can order on GrubHub so that removes that problem :)

In a sea of great Philly Vietnamese restaurants, Ngon Ngon manages to shine. The broth in the special Pho is really truly delicious. It's so clean and flavorful, I think this broth might be the best Pho I've had in Philly which is really saying something considering there is so much competition at the top. The small version of their pho is more than enough meat to satisfy. If I had any complaints, I'd say the rare beef could have been layered on top to keep it rare. The fried squid and shrimp appetizer had great flavor and less of a crunch from being fried than I expected. It might have been a tad over salted but I still dig the dish and wouldn't mind ordering it again. I will definitely try come back to try some of the other appetizers on the menu. The restaurant is really small and if I didn't come on an off day I might have had to wait.

This is a delicious, authentic, and small run business that is a delightful add to the area! It is mostly good for takeout as there is limited seating which is too bad as it could be a good lunch spot with a couple more tables. The selection of pho is extensive and the spring rolls and wontons are so popular that they sell out 2-3 days after the chef makes a large batch! I hope more people give this spot a chance as the service is friendly and the flavors are delicious. Also they offer delivery through Caviar and maybe Postmates now...

Best pho that I had in Philly. The broth is full of flavors, and they are not shy about the amount of meat either. I got the pho special, small bowl for $12 and I'm satisfied.

came for lunch on a weekday and the place was pretty empty but that was allllllllll gravy with me, so all attention can be on me :) i started with the salt baked seafood, grilled pork & shrimp summer rolls and then got the pho special. salt baked seafood: flavors are good but breading sucked, they were falling off as i was eating. i think once the breading is down, this would be a great dish grilled pork & shrimp summer rolls: this was different. there was a spice on the pork that i'm not used to but i LOVED it! very flavorful. the rice paper itself was a bit dry, i think if it's made fresh and served right away it would be perfecto pho special: i got a small but it was still a great portion. they do NOT skimp out on the meats! the broth here is delicious, honestly, probably the best i've had in philly! the brisket was delicious, the bone marrow was so tender and the eye rounds weren't tough at all. i was really impressed my boyfriend got the pho with the flash fried filet mignon large and he loved it! i have to say though, the large isn't that much bigger than the small. all in all, the service was great and the place was cute and the broth was money. that's all i need when i crave pho!

We had An amazing experience at Ngon Ngon. The food was incredible as well as the service. We started with grilled pork and tofu summer rolls, both of which were delightful. From there we tried the "tacos" which were a new thing for us, but were delicious. We ended the night with a small filet mignon pho and large tofu and veggie pho. The meat in the filet pho was so tender it melted in your mouth and the tofu in the veggie pho was perfectly crispy. We thank our server so much for teaching us how to pronounce some of the menu items and also for her great service. Definitely will be back and looking forward to it!

Ngon ngon special noodle soup - Classic 16-hr broth with August certified brisket, eye round, bone marrow, meat balls & rice noodles. I saw this and was like I had to get the large which came with the bone. Very meaty and filling. Wish there was more flavor in the broth because I did have to use hoisin and sriracha sauce to enhance the taste. I will come back and try other dishes.

It's been a while since I posted a review, but I need to let the world know that we have a new home for the Best Pho in Philly! John and I travel all over for pho - but no more. Today, after a productive walk from the station thru Center City, we stopped here on our way home, thanks to a recommendation of a friend. They weren't kidding!! John had the Filet Mignon Noodle Soup and it was the most delicious broth he's had to date; the filet was so perfectly prepared it melted in his mouth. I had the Deluxe Fried Rice - a mix of shrimp, pork and chicken; the vegetables were fresh, crisp and the rice was light and fluffy (not usual for fried rice) ... so friggin' good. They've been open for a couple months and offer take out or delivery by Caviar. Or, do what we did and dine in ... relaxed and spotless dining room (and kitchen!). Please try for yourself and support this new local business!! If you're a fan of pho - GO!

Came here with a friend of mine for dinner. We both got the pho special. I have to admit, this has got to be the best pho I had so far. The broth was so flavorful. No need to add hoisin or sirracha to it. For $12, I got the small bowl of pho. I thought it was very filling. Will definitely come back again to try their other dishes!

Small front seating with lovely open space seating in the back. The food is amazing, they are willing to adjust the menu according to how you like your food cooked. Example, there isn't any Shrimp Pho on the menu but they'll make it and there isn't any streamed dumplings only fried on the menu but if you ask they'll steam the dumplings. I would highly recommend you give them a try!
