Delicious, fantastic vegan options, had a matcha bun and the grandma tofu which was great! I'm looking forward to being in suburban station again so I can try more menu items.Vegetarian options: Bao and other options for vegetarians and vegans are great and definitely not boring!Dietary restrictions: Nice vegan and vegetarian options!

This review is for the new Fishtown location. Chicken katsu curry was great. I liked the spice level too. However, bubble tea was a bit disappointing. Very limited flavors available. I’d love to see you expand that more. Also, my taro tea needed more sweetener in it.

I ordered the Gyoza cheesesteak. It was great! I also ordered the Old Fashioned Bao (pictured below). Also very enjoyable and filling. Great location in suburban station and my food came out very promptly and hot!

Cute spot! Friendly service. Food was solid, great broth and tasty ingredients. Pork was on the drier side, and corn didn’t go well in ramen. Very small portion size was a disappointment, and the soup wasn’t very hot and came in a little plastic bowl. Would come back but would like it more if the portions were more normal sized and wasn’t served in plastic bowls.

The store is hygienic and clean, the food should be delicious, and there are many varieties. The fried dumplings are very delicious.

I highly recommend Ninja Bao. They offer a unique twist on traditional Asian Cuisine, with a focus on Bao buns. The food is always delicious, the service is always excellent, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. We always order the Marinated Chili Oil Beef Brisket Rice Bowl. YOU GOTTA TRY IT. The beef is tender and flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices. The marinated chili oil adds a nice kick to the dish without overpowering it. It’s so delicious. We always want more haha. We also love their pan-fried pork soup bao and their whole vegetarian bao.

You know how "hole in the wall" restaurants off the beaten path just tend to be better? After following a fellow Yelper's review to find the buried treasure I can say with confidence that this is that restaurant. To find this place you need to ignore the Google/Apple Maps and find the Septa station entrance called "15th St Trolly Station". This is on 15th St. across from Dilworth Park. Go down the escalator and go right, through the doors and continue straight to Ninja Bao which is on your right. There is a small seating area (which was busy - a good sign), a counter/kitchen with friendly employees and great smelling food. We ate the 6 piece "I don't know" box of bao buns which contains one of each of their varieties. Each one was perfectly steamed to soft fluffy goodness and the stuffings were all delicious. The sauces (garlic/onion soy, spicy mayo) were excellent. Even the dessert bao were good though a bit on the sweet side. We were in and out within 20 minutes full and happy. Totally recommend this place for our bao bun needs!

Took a little bit of searching to find but who doesn't love a good adventure. Located right in the Septa tunnel you can find Ninja Bao next to the post office and jewelry store. Buns were delectable and I can't wait to get more. Too many to choose so I just got a variety box of 6. Devoured them all for lunch in one sitting. All around excellent experience. Staff were very friendly and the food came out quickly even during the lunch hour. They also have a nice seating area if you wanted to sit and enjoy the space.
