Friends dinner out on a rainy Saturday. Our Mr first time to Noir since the Pandemic. It's even better than we remembered. Same comfortable, relaxed, neighborhoods atmosphere. Same warm and welcoming service. And the food is inspired. Particularly good: broccoli rabe with sausage and beans starter, arancini, gnocchi in mushroom gravy, short rib, and (amazing) spaghetti with crab sauce. Desserts were fresh and especially tasty. Great evening!

Visited for lunch. Food was ok but a little inconsistent. Seems to do well with the main preparation (ie salad well dressed and burger tasty) but slacks on the execution (burger bun too small, using prepacked butter, plastic cups of ketchup). Service was nice and well timed.Unsweetened iced tea tasted stale and they charged the sugary beverage tax even though it was unsweetened. I didn't bother with a cocktail as the bar program reminded me of something akin to an Applebee's - a lot of fruit flavors, peppermint, etc.Atmosphere was pretty generic. The wood bar is beautiful though giant TV's kind of killed that vibe. Earth tones and dancey pop music in the dining room. Music was annoying enough that I put my ear buds in after a few minutes.Along with the sugary beverage tax they also charged a credit card fee, which seemingly most restaurants do as well these days.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Winter door too narrow and two steps up.

Love this place. Small, local bar, restaurant. The bartenders, and staff are terrific. We always stop for drinks, and appetizers. The food is good, but sometimes a hit or miss. The drinks are great. We go for the atmosphere, and friendly service.
