The food is good, the ambiance and vibe are good. This is a popular happy hour spot in the heart of downtown Philadelphia. This is one of my fave chill spots. Great wait staff. The price point for meals are a tad pricey, but worth it.
My husband and I have been regulars here for years and are absolutely devastated by the removal of the shrimp sliders from the happy hour menu! We used to gladly wait over an hour for a happy hour table just to get those shrimp sliders in our bellies. We will still be coming here for the fresh oysters, lobster roll, seafood grill and other tasty menu items but certainly not as frequently now that the sliders are gone.
Came here on a Saturday night around 7pm with no reservation so only seating they had available was at the oyster bar-which was in the corner so it didn’t feel too cramped. Despite how busy they were, our server was still attentive. We ordered the sardines-good but not something I’d order again it was just too plain, New England clam chowder-perfect amount of clams, potatoes and bacon, manhattan clam chowder-good, whole split lobster with fries-so dang finger licking delicious-lobster...
