Don't get the boneless wings with teriyaki sauce from happy hour.
The chicken was actually very good, but the sauce was not. No problems with drinks, service, or atmosphere.

Considering where this Gem is located..I was expecting a high end looking place.
To my delight ..it was just what I wanted to see. A true Irish pub. With uncomfortable bar seats and that old Dublin feel.
Food was ok. Will try different stuff when I return to Philly.
All in all..great stop

I had a great time at Paddy Whacks Irish Sports Pub on South Street, and it was a fun place to relax after exploring the neighborhood. The atmosphere was lively, welcoming, and full of energy, especially with the games playing on the TVs. I ordered the fish and chips with a side of wings, and everything came out hot, crispy, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and the food was exactly what I was hoping for.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and kept the service moving smoothly even during a busy evening. The only small downside was that it got a little noisy once the crowd picked up, but that's part of the authentic sports pub experience.
My tip for first-time visitors is to stop by during a game if you enjoy the excitement of a sports crowd. If you're with friends, order a few appetizers to share and try one of the local draft beers.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience. Thank you to the entire team at Paddy Whacks Irish Sports Pub for the delicious food, excellent service, and great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Philadelphia.

Been a customer for two years so far. Perfect date spot, good eats every time.
Nice looking bar...however when I ordered during happy hour, I was charged full price. I was told by the bartender it's because I ordered at 1:59pm instead of 2pm... Seriously? I should have just walked out and back in. The blue moon on tap was also extremely sour and flat. I do not recommend going here unless the service improves.
A must stop in on South Street! Cold drinks, great food and there's a good amount of parking. The staff is always welcoming, friendly and fast
What a fantastic find. Stopped in for a quick lunch and the food was delicious. I'll be back.
The citywide app event was great. Citywide the app has provided us with great suggestion of location for drinks and dinning.
The perfect pour! I can always count on Shannon to present me the best Guinness.

See attached picture…. lol.
I would understand the Guinness poor not being the greatest if it were busy, but we were the only two in the bar for happy hour. So I wonder what a Guinness pour would be on a busy night out.

Great place if you want to feel like you're walking on flypaper. The floors upstairs were so sticky I felt like I was going to lose my shoes. Drinks were fairly priced.
