We had our work holiday party with Paddy Whacks on South Street and couldn’t have been more pleased! The party options are a great deal with an open bar and appetizers. The set up process was seamless and the staff at Paddy Whacks was extremely helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend for any larger party!

Located on South Street at Second Street in the Headhouse area of Philadelphia this Irish bar has terrific bar food and is a great place to watch sports. They have 2 bars in separate rooms with booths along the perimeter walls. My favorite Happy Hour spot in this area for they have 3 dollar Guinness pints. The bar and food servers are friendly doing their job professionally with a pleasant smile. They also have a juke box which is rare to find these days and have another establishment...

I have historically enjoyed dining here when in the area, today not so much. Monday evening and the place was empty, service was slow. Food is a little pricier than I recall, but the portion size was small and I didn't feel like the price and serving size matched up. The food was good and I enjoyed it.

It was however clean.
