Paganos Steaks & Hoagies

But Im not here for that, (atmosphere) Paganos is my travel for a cheese steak location. If im in Philly Im headed here for steak.

These cheese steaks are garbage. If they were good they would get all the business in this part of the city. I'd rather drive a half hour.

Stopped in for a cheesesteak, but it just didn’t hit the mark for me. I remember when Pagano’s was the spot for a really good cheesesteak, and I wish it still had that same flavor and quality. Hoping it gets back to what made it really good!

Let’s start with the very unpleasant disposition of the woman working up front. Didn’t get her name. Enough to make us never want to go back.
The cold cuts are sliced too thick. The steak meat has a lot of gristle in it. They fall way short of what it once was. So disappointed!

Wed. August 20, 2025, On this day I had a delishish Pagonos hoagie! The young lady made that hoagie the way I remembered Pagonos was when I was a kid😄 The hoagie was neatly made, and tasty! Hats off to the chef!

The place is clean and the staff is nice. I didn't wait long for the cheese steak and the Italian hoagie. The food tasted delicious.

First time there and food was good, plenty of meat and fresh roll. Would definitely go again.

The place was empty and they were still slow. They mixed up my order with the one other person in the store. I took home the wrong sandwich. When I called to complain about it, they were nasty. I figured it's been awhile since I've had one of their sandwiches, so I'd check them out. It'll be a long while before I'll try again.

Paganos used to be good and gave you a steak that was filled up, now the charge you almost $20 for a slim cheese steak

The beef cheesesteak is 100x better than the chicken. I wish the chicken was shaved.

I asked for my roll toasted. The first time they toasted my roll on the grill. The next time I was told by Black cook that they don't toast rolls. I waited until he wasn't working and went back. The Black cashier said we don't toast rolls. So I went down the street to Papa Joe's and got my roll toasted.

Omg...its back to the old steaks! No more minced meat...first time in 15 yrs! The triple cheesesteak i had today was delicious & the guy that made it was very personable...went again(6/7/25)placed order,got home...wrong bag given it had a cheesesteak w/ mounds of ketchup ( so disappointed)...I ordered triple chix Xtra mayo...but today (6/9) I went and ordered again and it's delicious! Didn't waste time calling & complaining I'm sure it was a honest mistake but...YALL OWE ME ONE!ooooh they have Cooper Sharp
