My family made a reservation for Saturday evening. We are all Italians that have been to Italy and this is some of the best Italian food I've ever had in my life. I had the black fettuccine and my mind was blown 10/10 would recommend for any occasion.

We only ordered 2 cocktails, one of them being a margarita, we were not offered the type of tequila and were given patron, which should not be used in a mixed drink, (it's too smooth and nice to be mixed-its a sipping tequila) and it was garnished with a lemon...weird. We were also not offered any more drinks. We ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer- the appetizer was fine, the chicken entree with the carrot puree was delicious, and we had a pasta and clam dish as well. That was not successful. It was so salty that it was inedible. When we told the waitress, she then told us that she had had this feedback in regards to that dish previously....why was it not altered or taken off the menu? The restaurant was lovely to look at, there was a big open window, and the night was breezy and warm, but the place was empty at 9 on a Saturday. The menu online looked so good, and to only have one good entree, was disappointing.

I have lived near Passyunk for almost 2 years and this was my first time trying Paradiso. I'm the food was delicious and we would definitely go back. We got a lovely outside table and enjoyed the experience.

Fantastic experience. Omar our waiter was on top of his game. We had mussels for an appetizer- very good and 2 pasta dishes. We like this place better than center city. Clean neighborhood with lots of options and bars to go to afterward. It's a must in East Passyunk. I traveled from Princeton and have friends that come from belle mead NJ. Make yourself a reservation.

Everything on the menu was cooked to order (meaning you could specify if you wanted a dish with a lot of heat/spicy, moderate heat/spicy or no heat/spicy) and was outstanding. The hardest part of the dinner was deciding on which entree to order. Our waiter was very informative and helpful in our selection and the wine list was amazing! I will definitely go back with family and friends for any occasion, not just special occasions.

My girlfriend and I went here for the first time to try it out, during restaurant week. It was a busy Friday night, 8pm table. Very vibrant and fun atmosphere to be in. We were seated in a great front corner table by the nice windows (which when warmer we think would open and be great seats!). We began with two red wines and a cheese plate (off RW menu) and then had the Burrata (picture) which was incredible. Our second courses were squid ink pasta with crab meat & shrimp, as well as the barramundi which was delicious! We ended up with another red & a white with dinner and desert which was tiramisu along with a warmed pastry desert with cinnamon gelato. Overall the food was delicious and the service was very personable. Especially the chef / owner who could be seen throughout the restaurant serving, clearing and being just the do it all host. Which is rare, but that level of detail is one of the reasons why we will be back. It was a highlight of our night having a few minutes to talk with her after we wrapped up our meal.

I got the whole family together for dinner on the last night of Passyunk restaurant week. We were excited to get together and have some great food. When we arrived around 7pm, it wasn't that packed yet. Our waiter was a younger guy and super friendly. After we got a menu, he took our drinks. Drinks came and then our waiter didn't come back for awhile to take our food order. Food orders were taken and then it took about 30 minutes to get bread and another 15-20 mins to get our entrees. At this point, the restaurant was really filling up and getting noisy. You could only hear the person sitting next to you. Of the 8 of us, half went off the RW menu and the other half off the main menu. Everyone thought the food was delicious, but the winners were definitely the branzino and the rabbit ragu pasta. One unfortunate thing was when the entrees arrived, my cousin's pork chop came breaded and he specified that he has a gluten allergy. Thankfully my uncle swapped with him and all was well. Desserts came for those who ordered the set menu and were delicious! Bravo on the apple tart and cinnamon gelato! As I mentioned before my cousin has celiac so he just asked for the gelato. When it came out, it was a very small scoop (i guess equivalent to what the other ppl received to accompany the main desert). I just feel he could've received a larger/second scoop given that's all he was eating. Anyway these aren't deal breakers. We all enjoyed our food and would love to come back. I just wanted to point these things to help improve a nice place.
