They have a seasonal plant-forward menu, and overall the food was very good. We got the sourdough focaccia, beet salad, heirloom tomato salad, sungold tomato pappardelle, and stuff pepper with romesco. The tomato dishes were my favorite. You can really taste the quality of ingredients, and I love the additional of fermented items. It’s worth coming out of your way for.

Came on a date with my non-veg boyfriend and we both equally enjoyed the food! Amazing vibes and good service as well. The focaccia is pretty hyped up but I felt ours was dry and a little burnt. Would have to try again but the pasta was to die for! Creative flavors and ingredients.

If you come to Philly and can only go to one place it should be Pietramala. I highly recommend going with 2-3 friends and getting every single dish on the menu. Yesterday I got to try their veggie burgers that they do once a month and it did not disappoint! The pictures don’t do it justice. An unbelievable place.

If anyone was going to take over the old Blackbird I'm glad it was this place. Great food, friendly staff and a wonderful night with the wife. The oyster mushrooms were out of this world! I will be back.

Has my vote for the best restaurant in Philadelphia. Went last night for the fifth or sixth time, shared 8 dishes with the table and every single thing that came out was perfect. Delicious, fresh, and inspiring! I love to cook and this is a restaurant that makes me want to try new techniques and combinations, what a delight.

One of the best meals I have had and I have a lot of excellent food. The menu was so tempting I could have had any dish on it pretty much and relished every bite had we not eaten our way through Philly for the past two days. This is the kind of food I like to eat: really good local ingredients, prepared in creative and interesting ways, little unexpected twists and techniques that seem simple but take a certain kind if love and understanding of food to do just so. If I lived in Philadelphia I would be here as often as I go to Spoke Wine Bar at home (Boston). I brought my friend’s daughter who is a voracious meat eater who declared “I’m vegan” after her first bite. No need to label it (unless you are of course vegan or have allergies to dairy or whatever) this is just delicious food that anyone who loves food will appreciate.

Wow I am blown away! The golden beets for me, were the best beets I’ve ever had. Huge fan of the ramp ranch on the potatoes and snap beans. I would put that on any salad and be happy with it for the rest of my life. I was right at the perfect level of full after sharing six dishes plus dessert and the freshness of the ingredients and preparation impressed quickly with the explosion of flavors they have in each bite.

Great soundtrack for the music, amazing service by both the server and support staff! This is one of those restaurants you really want to go to every season to see what they do differently.

Fantastic little restaurant with vegetable forward dishes.

Dinner at @pietramela was absolutely divine — elevated vegan dining that puts plants on a pedestal 🌿✨ Every dish was plant-forward, flavor-packed, and rich without being heavy. Most ingredients are organic and locally sourced — and you can taste the quality and care in every bite. We started with the beet salad — sweet, creamy, bright, and crisp with a lovely herby note from fresh dill. The cucumber dish was pure umami: tamari, vinegar, creamy tofu, crispy fried tofu skin, green onion, and seaweed. So fresh and so layered. My hubby had the eggplant — smoky, rich, with a perfect hint of spice. I had the broccoli, slow-stewed to a risotto-like texture. Deeply comforting, totally decadent. No artificial vegan meats here — just thoughtful, beautifully prepared veggies. Truly a must-visit if you're in Philly and want to experience plants in their highest form. #Pietramela #PlantsOnAPedestal #VeganFineDining #PlantForward #OrganicVegan #PhillyVeganEats #ElevatedEats #VeganWithoutTheFaux #FlavorDriven #LocalAndSeasonal #PhillyEats

Absolutely love this place. Atmosphere is lovely, service is great, and the food is AMAZING. No longer BYOB but they have amazing cocktails and drinks. Definitely one of the best vegan restaurants of Philly.

Delicious vegan restaurant with refreshing and innovative dishes! The portions are a bit small for the price, but it’s a lovely spot to share amongst friends.

I love this place. The focaccia might be the best food I've ever had. I dream about it. If you're debating on where to go, just go here please. You won't regret it.
