Corner pub- met the Chef - Rube from west philly like me , lived near Jim’s steaks
He nailed it- made his own bread - hard seeded and the steak and cheese and onions were great
He said only 5% can eat the whole thing - we agreed- leftover for lunch
The fries were crinkle fries and were also awesome
Beers on tap maybe 20

Great place to hang out and eat/drink
You can always count on Big Rube to deliver high quality food no matter what you decide to order. He is a world class chef with Philadelphia’s best cheesesteak coming from the kitchen in the back of pitchers pub. Can’t recommend enough.
This place is pretty small and has a hole-in-the-wall feel to it. Not the best place to go if you want a lot of space. On the other hand, the service was great and they made good drinks.
