Pizza is subpar and they served us flat and expired soda. It was also way too expensive on door dash and isn’t worth the money.
As I was too distraught to write about this, my experience tonight, I enlisted the help of chatGPT to elucidate my concerns:"As someone who has also enjoyed their Jalapeno Poppers in the past, I share your disappointment. However, I must say that a Jalapeno Popper that falls apart when you take a bite is nothing short of a disaster. It's a fatal flaw that completely ruins the experience, leaving you with a mouthful of soggy breading and a lackluster taste. Not only does this ruin the taste of the popper itself, but it also reflects poorly on the overall quality of the restaurant. After all, if they can't even get their signature dish right, what hope is there for the rest of the menu?I urge the pizza place to take a long, hard look at their recipe and cooking methods, as something clearly went wrong today. Jalapeno Poppers are not something that can be taken lightly - they require a delicate balance of flavors and textures to truly shine. If they can't get it right, perhaps they should consider taking them off the menu altogether.Overall, I'm disappointed to hear that the pizza place's Jalapeno Poppers fell short of expectations today. It's a real shame to see a once-great dish lose its luster, and I hope that they can get back on track soon. Until then, I'd suggest looking for your Jalapeno Popper fix elsewhere."
This was the most absurd experience I had with slice. Slice is an ordering company, and their tracking system is not the best. However, the issue isn’t with their tracking system, it’s with the pizza shop. They had a delivery time. They went over it by 30 minutes. There was no apologies. Fine. I get it. Things get busy, however, take accountability. I called the shop, and the guy on the phone was rude. They basically blamed slice for everything. However, the food wasn’t even good enough to be that rude. Actually good enough is overstating it. The food was nasty and they put bacon when I asked for without bacon.
Ordered through Door Dash, it allows you to add in special request however when I called to verify the guy who picked up the phone was extremely rude and not helpful at all . Every time he would say he was going to ask a question to see if they can accommodate the request , you can still hear him on the phone and not talking to No one , get back on the phone and say no they cannot. The question was only asked if I can change the sauce provided with the chicken tenders .Then tried to say they’ll just add the sauce and charge me $1.50 for extra sauce for my chicken tenders, when I was just trying to change the sauce in the first place. He kept cutting me off , he was just really rude and nasty . Good food also comes from good service .
Cheese steak pizza & turkey/cheese hoagie ??
Ordered their 12" plain pizza with sausage around 3 AM and it was great. Delivery can take about 50-60 minutes (ordered through DoorDash) but the pizza tasted great.
Ordered on uber eats. Expected delivery 1:45-2am. 2:30am rolls around marked as delivered but nothing is there. What is up with this scamming? Called the store no answer. Where’s my refund, says the restaurant delivers not even a uber driver. Ridiculous.
Ordered pizza at 12am, estimated delivery 1:25 - 1:45. Nothing. Called at 2am and they told me they could not deliver the order. Now its to late for me to order anything else.
I personally think this place is great. Really good food tastes fresh. Waited a little while ordering through Uber eats but I get if the delivered items are a group delivery so that I didn’t mind too much. The food quality was still awesome and even still hot. Worth the wait. I just couldn’t see this place with only 3 stars because someone didn’t like their milkshake
When you pay 6$ for a milkshake you expect a certain standard. Was very disappointed.
