We happened upon this place completely by accident, on a recommendation from the hostess at a nearby restaurant when we told her we were looking for a place to watch the Eagles game. She spoke highly of the food and the staff at Pizzata, and she was 100% on the mark. The pizza was some of the best we've had, and the service from the bartender Blaine was amazing. He was so nice and welcoming. Next time we're in the area we'd definitely come back!

Only order delivery so far but their vodka roni pizza is one of the best I ever had, sure their other pizzas are amazing as well, great crust, cheese, and high quality ingredients, taste amazing even when cold

so so, no wow factor. seems the walkway is at least wider which was annoying in the lascala. food wise we got some apps and a plain pizza. calamari wasnt good. it was fried to jerky, maybe if they just cut smaller rings instead of chunks of tube, coating needs work too, falling off too much, needs salt or just seas9n after the fry not before ir do it 2x. pizza was alright but i prefer the older place, the differences are lascala had a more flavorful cheese and light sauce, here has heavy sauce and the cheese is light it also comes of as kinda sour, not deep or sweet like a tomato pie flavor. dough is well done/dark but tastes like sourdough/english muffin, the former place was more golden and just tasted more like ...pizza. maybe ill try their pasta but not really into the pizza.
I stopped by for a pizza and some cold beer, and I wasn't disappointed. Bartender was very nice and very attentive. Got a white prosciutto pizza and pair it with some cold Peroni. Absolutely delicious!

What used to feel like a familial neighborhood pizza/Italian restaurant seems to have become “too cool for school”. The service we received during our past few visits has been mediocre to poor borderline rude and they’ve increased the happy hour prices and restrict it to only inside.
I’ve also become disappointed with their apparent distaste for children in the restaurant. This was a place that not too long ago prided itself and won an award for being family friendly. Now they try to banish you to the upper floor, where you rarely get any service attention.
On a positive note, I do think the pizza is a little bit better than before but not enough to outweigh the new cons.
Hate to say we won’t be going back.

Doesn’t compare to the other restaurant that existed here (La Scala Birria). Came for the chicken parm, which ended up costing $27 because I asked for more cheese as there was barely any cheese on the dish when I received it. Most expensive chicken parm that I’ve ever had and it was mediocre at best. I Ordered a glass of sangria, which was so watered down that it looked and tasted like cranberry juice. On top of that, the sangria was served on a glass FULL of ice.
My partner ordered a 5% ABV beer from the draft list that was served on a small glass, the glass size you typically get when you order an 8-10% ABV beverage.
Overall, disappointing and will be not visit again.

Pizza has definitely changed. it's ok
Too doughy to be neapolitan or NY style (at least the ones i grew up on, though ny also has doughy pizza like sbarro and famous rays). Cheese kinda solidified quickly and doesn't have that tasty oiliness. It seems like a part skim, low moisture style (maybe a supermarket brand). I'll probably try it once more to determine if it goes on my "list" of easy dinner go tos.
To respond, .. I've never tried your other location, and ermmm, yeah, i probably wouldn't be wowwed by it if it's the same. Its absolutely not the same pizza from when it was under the lascala birra name. Even claiming a NY style, its lacking any similarity to a typical ny pizzaria. Kinda similar to angelos but they are also not that good if your coming from ny style pizzerias. Very tough and chewy once it cools a few minutes.
The pizza was pretty good and I would happily go back. Great customer service upon issues with an order.

Getting seated was a strange ordeal of telephone between the front and back of house, which caused us to have to close and reopen our bar tab several times (and I think they cleaned the table twice ?).
Once we were seated though, the wait staff was actually great and we got our food quickly after putting it in. The problem was that even though the apps were great, the pizza itself was oddly misbalanced. There was an abundance of cheese and crust with very little sauce, toppings, or flavor. Which is strange since this has never been our experience at their other location.
Overall, it wasn't bad for pizza and I'd definitely come for drinks and apps, but didn't quite hit the mark for a quality dinner experience. Unlucky
Vegetarian options: Lots of apps and entries without meat ?
