Stopped here for the first time and was blown away by the kindness of the staff and the tastiness of the coffee. Highly recommend a cold brew with banana syrup and caramel sauce-absolutely delicious. Staff was kind enough to give me a half portion of each syrup and charge me for one, that way I wasn’t paying an extra two dollars to jazz up my coffee haha.? Will definitely be returning. Thanks again!

Coffee is over burned and too bitter. That’s it.If you do like specialty coffee – skip this place.

Was excited and curious to check this place out because of the space and largely because of this note on their website: "Our goal is to provide the best coffee to our community and its visitors while working toward reducing our carbon footprint on the environment." That note is awesome! But all I saw was a sea of disposable/single-use cups for their beverages, which is beyond a bummer. It's cool if their beans are thoughtfully cultivated, but tried an espresso drink and ... was not good. Very happy if they are doing well and local and doing good things. But for me, not a rush to return.

Anytime I go to Chestnut Hill I always make sure to stop by Poppy's! They're located in a cute little market area that has other food and beverage options. The staff are always friendly and quick to make my drink. I always get a latte with oat milk and it never disappoints! Definitely check out Poppy's if you are in the area.

We go to Poppys because it's nice to go to Chestnut Hill from center city, but the coffee is always a little weak. I asked for a dbl shot in my cappuccino but it was still too weak. I wish they had stronger coffee because it's fun to go there.

We wanted two teas. The person serving looked put out to serve us, as they were stacking boxes. The teas cost $7.50 (for two teabags and some hot water..??) my wife’s tea was lukewarm after she added a bit of milk, so I went back and mentioned this to the person serving. He grumpily took the cup without saying a single word, or apologizing, and just added more hot steam to the cup, then handed it back, again without a single word. As far as customer service goes, this was just an incredibly bad experience, he was very rude.

I LOVE Poppy's! They are a walk-up-and-order cafe located right in the Chestnut Hill Market. It's easy to access as there is a parking lot specifically for market customers. If you'd like to sit, there is general seating available right by the Poppy's counter. Their steamed bevs are amazing - my personal favorite is the matcha latte with oat milk. The staff are so kind and they always have fresh pastry offerings. Cannot suggest enough! I love supporting this small business.

202205Drink it well! I ordered lavender lemon juice, which is not too sweet and the lavender taste is not fake. My friend ordered honey rose latte, which was too smooth. Another friend ordered hibiscus iced tea, which tasted weaker.
