Stayed nearby the Potbelly Connecticut ave WAWent 3 times and had excellent service and amazing foodOur 4th and final visit this morning was terrible. The server kept getting our order wrong, wouldn't listen, blamed us then kept on shouting at us whilst we ate our sandwiches that he was right and we were wrong. We'd had perfect orders with no mistakes three times in a row with the other staff so clearly it was his problem. He was rude and aggressive and definitely did not meet one of their promises of friendly service. Thank you to all of the other staff who served us over our three day stay, you were awesome! ?

2nd visit to Montgomery Ave store, and went for The Wreck today. Delicious sandwich and definitely recommend the Egg Nog shake as it isn’t overwhelmingly egg noggy. Staff was friendly and the store was clean. Got some good recommendations for future visit sandwiches from a fellow patron. Looking forward to downloading the app and earning some free grub. Thanks, to the Potbelly’s staff, for a solid meal in a hurry.
Well I used UberEats and ordered a “BIG” Smoked Ham & Cheese. It was not. For some reason it costs $11.59 in store and $16.59 on UE? How the hell do you justify that? I expect slightly higher prices on UE but that’s absurd. I wouldn’t have an issue if it was $11.59 but I could’ve gone to Larry’s Steaks and gotten a sandwhich TWICE the size for LESS money. Thoroughly disappointed in the sandwhich cost/size ratio.

I used to love going to this location - the food was always very good and portions pretty big!However, at some point they cancelled my order for some reason, never picked up their phone after I called to ask if I can reorder then they have been refusing for over a month to give me my money back. The first time I finally talked to them, the person was super nice, communicative and told me they are issuing a refund, but she informed me that it might take some time - which is absolutely understandable! After about 3 weeks, I called to get an update (I was advised to do that during our first conversation in case I did not receive the refund) and somebody else picked up. The lady was extremely rude, gave me a nasty attitude and was being sarcastic since the very beginning. She put me on hold and never returned to the phone! I still did not get my money back for the order I NEVER RECEIVED.I was a super loyal customer for the longest time but at this point, I do not want to go to this particular location ever again!

Grabbed some sandwiches here for lunch, and they were fabulous. They toast the sandwiches (bread, meat, & cheese) before adding the toppings, so everything kind of blends together really well. Can get a whole host of toppings (tomatoes, lettuce, onions, etc...), as well as your choice of sandwich spreads (i.e. mayo, mustard, etc...). They make a very good sandwich here, and the service was also very good. Very friendly & helpful staff. It's your basic Potbelly Sandwich shop.
