Large filling portions, many gluten free options, and friendly casual setting! My partner and I ended up sharing both our plates, it was all delicious ^_^

The arepas are insanely good and the service is always incredible. I order from here all the time and it might be my favorite restaurant in Philly.

Gabriel and Veronica are very kind and make you feel at home, the food is delicious and the service 10 out of 10, we came from the hospital tired and hungry and they pampered us a lot... We had a great time.

The arepas are out of this world, especially the chicken and avocado. We tried a fried plantain sandwich with beef and that was even better than the arepa! The sauces on it were phenomenal and so was the beef .

My wife and I stop here EVERY time we’re in Philly! We’ve been to other arepa places but Puyero is easily the best. The serving sizes are very generous and the food is always delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Ordered their asado patacon, barely had 1/3 of a plantain and the arepa tasted rubbery. Big deterioration in quality.
