I actually wanted to eat here but it took +1hr leaving Roots picnic that the kitchen was already closed when I arrived. As such I had a couple of PBRs until the bartender gave last call an hour early. It was a Sunday night and all the ladies left, can't fault that logic.
Fist experience here with friends on the weekend. Ambience is more a bar with a restaurant , than restaurant with bar. Food menu isn't fully descriptive. Food is decent. I ordered barbere chicken , not as spicy as expected and chicken was a bit tough without flavor cooked through, as if it was cooked seperate with sauce added. West Philly knows what up with that injera life! I only eat the veggies but am grateful for affordable healthy food and drinks, all the screens for game time, and a welcoming atmosphere for all!
