We were early for the dinner and not many customers at that time, so the service was very timely. Ordered tori karaage, Tonkatsu ramen, and cahshu chahan. The flavor was great but too salty for all the dishes, especially tori karaage. It's like doubled dose and I worries about my heart health with every bite. This is our first visit so not sure whether it's the norm or bad luck.

For people like me (always hot) Ramen soup during a heat wave is not a great idea. I chose this restaurant because they serve alcohol and they have a sushi menu. The staff members are all really nice and they were working their butts off! The sushi was fresh and the spicy soup flavorful... Unfortunately the AC wasn't working that well, they were understaffed, and the sushi menu and the bar menu did not have a good variety of options. I tried to order a vodka with pineapple juice on the rocks. They were either out of pineapple juice or they don't stock pineapple juice on their bar menu. Signature cocktails are great but sometimes you just want 2 ingredients :) I love sushi and was really there for sushi. I found the menu to be disappointing but everything was fresh. If you love giant bowls of steamy, hot noodle soup go there.

The ramen at Ramen Bar is alright. It isn't the best or the worst. However, you must try their katsu curry! The portion is HUGE!! The katsu is super crispy and juicy. It is a must-try.

The food was really good! DONT order the chili paste for your ramen. It was an extra $3. Only other issue was the service wasn't great. The hostess walked past the check not kidding 6 times before taking it. Usually service is what it is, but it was just comical. Would go for the food again.

I got takeout from Ramen Bar like a year ago and the food was so good I scarfed it down before I could take a pic...so now here's a 2nd attempt of my review LOL! The restaurant has a very cute, trendy vibe with an intimate dining room. Btw, parking can be a challenge but if you luck up & get a parking spot directly outside the restaurant on Lancaster Avenue, it's free. The ramen...WOW! I had every intention of taking some home but nope...ate every last bit there! As a pescaterian, majority of the ramen dishes had pork broth BUT there was about 3-4 chicken/vegetable/shrimp ramen bowls. Since I had the Vegetable Miso Ramen on my 1st visit (highly recommend!), I tried the Green Curry Ramen and this dish too measured up! There's a full bar and I definitely want to return to try their sushi which I hear is great too. Ishmael took great care of us at the bar! The only reason I'm giving Ramen Bar a 4 instead of 5 stars is because I asked for a little hot sauce to add to my ramen and the young lady gave me Bakudan which was delish but an additional $3 and didn't even advise beforehand (total pet peeve of mine)! I never heard of an additional charge for hot sauce and even so, generally a condiment charge is only $1-2; $3 is pretty steep. But go figures because if you add shrimp to the Vegetable Miso Ramen it's an additional $7. I guess they don't care about making things reasonable even though the restaurant is located on Drexel's campus. Also it would be nice if Ramen Bar's Happy Hour pricing returned like it had pre-pandemic (the HH menu is still on the restaurant's IG page).

The food is delicious! There's a lot of variety on the menu. I think between my husband and I we've tried all the ramen and not a single one disappointed. Flavors are awesome and the amount of food you get is worth it.

Hours incorrect. I just drove here and they are closed Sundays. Also there is parking.

Right in the heart of Drexel and University college., serving all the college student. Because if you don't live around the area, parking is a nightmare, but what's worst then the parking is the Service., oh man you be waiting and waiting and waiting . I had to get up a few time to look for a waiter. When your food is out, you won't see any server after. It's like a Disappearing act. Good news the ramen was hella good. I mean almost worth the service good. yakitori skewer is worst then the service. And how can you hate on fried ice cream. Would I come back, prolly for the ramen. Ramen bar is like an ex girlfriend that have Always treat you like trash neglected you emotionally and physically. But the sex is amazing. So you can't help but come and get Punish.

I've been coming to ramen bar for 3 years now because it used to be convenient and at an affordable price. Recently they've jacked up prices without any increase in quality, would just have to pay 2$ more for the same painfully average ramen. It's still packed most nights so it isn't like they were hurting for revenue and charged more, they just want to bleed more money out of college kids. Mid-quality ramen, you used to get your money's worth, now all I can say is that it's convenient.

Loved this spot Very cool/hip layout/décor. Ambiance was relaxed and fun. Food was amazing and bar had some fun cocktails. Everything was very college friendly reasonably priced. I had the Green Curry Ramen, which is a fusion of Thai to the classic Japanese Ramen dish....so awsome! The Sushi was fantastic, and several fun appetizers that i can't remember what they were called but were unique and tasty...something like Fried Avocada and Tuna role? Anway, we had a party of five and had a great time and the table next to us ended up morphing into our group to extend the fun night out.

I had a disappointing experience with Ramen Bar. Their website advertises that they accept orders on Caviar, but this turns out not to be true. Even though Ramen Bar "received" the order, I only found out this was not the case by showing up at the restaurant to be told that I had to call Caviar to cancel. Caviar was gracious and offered a quick refund, but shame on Ramen Bar for listing Caviar on their website as an approved vendor for online orders.

This was my first time sitting in at the Ramen Bar. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. The servers were very friendly and super helpful. I highly recommend this place.

I've been having a ramen obsession, therefore I've made it my duty to try every ramen joint I can lol. Ramen bar was a 4 minute drive away. I had a date night with my siblings. The food was decent. I wasn't blown away by my spicy ramen due to it not being spicy at all. It was decent and I would have it again. Just have to add a lot of the chilli pepper to my bowl. My sister never got her egg she ordered but they were busy. All in all a solid place for ramen. Nothing special but not bad either.

I have been wanted to try to Ramen Bar for a while now and I finally made it happen. My friend and I came in on friday around 8pm and they said they could sit us at a table that was kind of in a weird spot or we could wait for a better table. We were really hungry and we really didn't care about the table location so we sat immediately. The restaurant looked cute inside - kind of a loft look to it. I've recently been to TX and ate my way thru every deep friend avocado on every menu I saw - so I was super excited to see a deep fried avocado stuffed w crab and tuna. I also ordered a pork ramen w an egg on it. (which they all sounded the same on the menu so I needed the server to help me w my order). My friend ordered some sushi and an app of steamed buns. We waited a long time for a food and we were quite starved. Finally my friend's sushi came out and my fried avo. Except my fried avo came out as a sushi roll. Sent back and waited for the correct order while my friend finished her sushi. Eventually the correct fried avo came out, my soup and my friends steamed buns (which she loved). My friend avo was not that good. And the crab was "Krab" = disappointing. The soup did not have the egg on it that I ordered. BUT!! The soup was soooooo delicious. I loved every single spoonful. So I'm not holding the other stuff against them. I get there is a server shortage happening and mistakes happen and I will return for more delicious pork ramen.

I had to bump my review to 4 stars. We've eaten here and ordered from here a lot since my last review. The service is always really good, and the food is just what we want. Lancaster Ave. location is nice, but we miss the old location. All the ramens are tasty, and being able to order a vegan ramen is a huge plus.
