Great food, friendly service and a good lunch go to. So why the 4 stars? They need to post a general menu online somewhere. It's 2022 and it's not cute, quaint or authentic to not have an updated menu posted conveniently online, it's actually just inconvenient and downright irritating. One of the pleasures of living in my neighborhood is having a great deli inside the Chestnut Hill Farmers Market called Ranck's. It has been there forever I think. And the name is Amish so it must have roots in Lancaster County which helps account for the quality of what it purveys. You can get so much here beyond just meats and sandwiches - if you eat sausages they are actually very tasty - and some of their prepared preparations will add plenty of flavor to any dinner. Stopped by yesterday for a bite to eat with my girlfriend. Owner was extremely friendly. Ribs and chicken pot pie were delicious! The best tasting chicken nuggets I’ve ever tasted! You must give it a try.
