Ube Latte Dang this was freaking good. Was worried this seasonal offering was just some gimmick, but it was delicious and sweet and so brightly colored! Super cute coffee shop with a decent amount of seating and little tables

ReAnimator Coffee is a great place to grab a coffee. Decent selection of pastries and other drinks as well.

The place is the typical big windows/high ceilings /long-counter/many-laptops coffee shop that somehow managed to become the worldwide cafe standard over the past 10-15 years. Nothing particularly remarkable but nothing disappointing either. Everything else is underwhelming. Croissants and pastries are cold and they cannot heat them up. Coffee takes 8+ minutes to get served. I know that can perfectly happen depending on your order but staff ALWAYS make customers know in advance. For worse, when the coffee is finally ready, they don’t bother to announce it: just leave it on the counter. I noticed that and decided to not pick it up to see what happens next. What happened? Nothing. The coffee stayed at the exact same place for five more minutes. Means, the two far-from-charismatic baristas never even made any attempt to call the customer (me) attention. This is the worst part of this cafe: staff. If you want to run a standard coffee shop (the space, the predictable menu, the IPad asking 18%-25% tip), get standard baristas. They don’t need to be the cutest or most charming people of the block: they just need to be standard. They should know how to greet, how to sseeve, how to interact with people. The two girls today are not even closely remote to match rhe standard.

The baristas here are so sweet and they make the best lattes!

One of the best perks of living in the neighborhood. Everyone there is very nice and makes great drinks.

Coffee is ok, not the best, just ok. Service was very poor. I wasn't thanked or greeted.

I’d drive across the neighborhood to go to the other location. Staff seems miserable and is rude. People who ordered after me had their drinks made first because the cups weren’t put in order. They didn’t even call my drink when it was ready, I had to ask to make sure I was picking up the right one.

I used to love the bagles. I was so sad when I went there Saturday morning to find out they shut the bakery down. Those bagles you were baking were the best I've ever had and told a lot of people about them. The ones you are selling now are not nearly as good. I sure hope you can get the bakery back up and running.

music was intense (loud and fast) and there were flies and gnats everywhere. lil gnats all in the pastry case and then trying to get into my coffee. just had a sad vibe. service was good, this isn't a negative to the staff.

Philly still surprises me sometimes. Sometimes restaurants that look really pretty, under deliver in quality of food. The coffee here is top notch and brought the rating from 1 start to 3.The the bagel….A couple things. I never been to a shop that sells bagel where you have to toast your own bagel and spread your own cream cheese. Not sure why the register asks for “tip”, I don’t really know where the service is. Anyhow, I’m not a stickler for these things, I’m pretty easy going. But how are you going to have a huge space, sell a bunch of bagels and point to a *4 slice toaster* when I ask if you can toast my bagel. Then I have to wait for the bagel to toast then spread my own cheese… the toaster is on top of the trash next to the queue too, so you have to wade through the line and maneuver people trying to throw out trash. what. Why. Why? Is it really that much work to put the toaster in the work station?Idk what has happened within the last couple years but quality has diminished. Maybe the bagels got smaller and ingredients aren’t as fresh? Idk but compare this to nearby bagels and co and you instantly see the difference.
