I’m passing through this neighborhood out of nowhere. I’ve lived in Philly for 20 years. Got me a slice here, it is by far of the best pizza I’ve ever had in Philadelphia. I’ve lived in Northwest, South, Center City. It was a sweet kind of sauce, but the whole slice was so freaking good. I did cheese on top because they do ask you lol

Renzi's, and Old English Pizzeria just a block away, have been rivals for maybe thirty years now, ever since I was a teenager growing up in the neighborhood where my parents still live. All these years later and Renzi's still has slightly better food, on average, but they're still way more aloof and arrogant and unfriendly (except the delivery drivers). Love renzis. Would usually give 5 stars…Order from here faithfully and spend well each time too…love the array of menu items they offer…almost always I have a good experience when ordering as well..I know they get busy on weekends but on Friday 1/24 I ordered around noon and the lady on the phone was super rude and hung up on me midsentence…had to call back again to pay with my card….tried asking for extra chili on my fries and couldn’t even get a word of it out before...
