Buca D'oro Ristorante Reviews
Buca D’Oro is absolutely delicious. On this visit, I had Linguine Pescatore in Red and my husband had the Bronzino special. Both were amazing. The drinks are delicious as well, although there is a female bartender here who is THE BEST when she bartends. Coffee, dessert, the bread, it’s all phenomenal. Buca is a fantastic place for classic and delicious Italian fare.
We love to go to Buco D’oro before we go to a show at the Walnut Street Theatre. It is a lovely restaurant with super friendly staff, a very Italian waiter and excellent food. We’ve never gone that we don’t get a very good meal.

This restaurant is reason enough for us to visit Philly again. What a fantastic meal!!

Buca D'oro Ristorante serves excellent Italian food at a reasonable price in a quiet location away from the city crowds. The professional and attentive staff, many of whom are Italian, create a warm atmosphere that transports guests straight to Italy. The menu features homemade desserts and various coffee drinks, along with a diverse selection of dishes. Homemade pasta dishes are all good, particularly fettuccine funghi and short rib pappardelle. The pasta is clearly made fresh in-house, cooked perfectly al dente, and the sauces are rich, flavorful, and balanced. The fish of the day is also quite good. Chefs are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions, making it a great choice for all. Customers appreciate the quick and friendly service, with staff going above and beyond to make diners feel at home. The service is very good, and guests can enjoy a decent wine selection. While some appetizers may disappoint, the appetizer menu is great, with options like grilled calamari being particularly tasty. The entrees, especially the seafood dishes, are outstanding—fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. Buca D'oro offers a relaxing dining experience with well-presented dishes and a selection of reasonably priced wines, making it a must-visit spot for anyone in Philadelphia.
