Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I’ve been here a few times previously with no real issue, but I’m seeing what some of the other reviews said about the staff choosing to close early. I went over at about 8:25 this Friday evening, when it says they close at 9, and the blinds were down and the lights cut off. No sign on the windows either, maybe consider changing hours on the website since this happens often it seems.

Bring me the Peanut Butter Syrup!! Extra Extra and a big ole dose of whipped cream on a large sundae with anything peanuts extras for toppings!!!

This is review is based on multiple visits over the past 2 years. I must be lucky because every I go to this Rita's- it's right before a line forms so I'm in and out with my water ices super quick. I love the ones with fruit pieces in them like the wild cherry, but am in the process of trying all the flavors. One of my favorite blends to order is oreo and coffee; so delicious. Expected/decent pricing. Staff is attentive; just wish I could put the tip on my credit card. Can't wait to my next visit, maybe tomorrow!

Best Rita's in Philly

This is the second time this has happened with the same two girls. We waited outside for about 10 minutes. Everything was left on but no one was there. Finally two girls come out, reeking of weed. One remained on the phone, cursing and screaming. Also they messed up my order. If I didn't love ritas, I'd never go back.

Waited about 10 minutes to place our orders but workers were either not present (with all lights on) or were not willing to assist customers. Very dissapointing and would recommend to visit a different rita’s location. When we got back into the car, we called the store and could hear the phone being picked up and hung back up, intentionally ignoring the call. Wish I could give zero stars!

Drove out to have no one answer the window, basically hiding from customers, called the store twice to have our calls declined immediately. Unprofessional.

Usually love coming here but this summer, it’s been nothing but staff talking on cell phones while taking my order. I can barely hear them speak due to the attitude they possess. I went for a pretzel and the young girl had a very nasty disposition. She told me “not ready.” I then noticed her get back on her phone while I’m still at the window. I’m guessing she had an attitude b/c I interrupted her call. They speak so low u can barely hear them.

Love this spot! Its a small ritas but friendly and there's a super nice pub across the parking lot. 1 stop shop for me and my son.
