Thursday, March 14, 2024, around 4:45 p.m. It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood. 75° in Sunny Philadelphia at Stenton Ave & Mt. Pleasant Ave. A great day for Rita's Water Ice. 2 gelatis and a vanilla custard. The young lady who waited on me was a doll. Upbeat personality and a kind demeanor. Thanks, everyone, at this location!

Well its back open. The guy working here today had the patience of a saint based on the idiot he had to deal with that I witnessed. He was polite the whole time and showed no sign of distress which is rare when dealing with people in this city. That deserve 4 stars alone but additionally, the scoop was perfectly sized, the flavor was scrumptious and Mt. Airy should be glad they are open again.

We were only in Philly 4 days, yet got Rita's Gelatis three times. The frozen custard is AMAZING. Like nothing we've ever tasted before. Layered with different Italian Ices made it a godsend on the 90+ degree days we were there. We loved it so much that we searched the closest one to home and were happy find one just outside of Boston.
