Omg guys save ur money, their foods are nastyyy no taste at all guys i say it again no taste the food is horrible horrible horrible, I bought jerk chicken platter the rice was very very dry without any any taste, the cabbage also no taste at all smells so bad, the chicken also didn’t have any taste, and so so overcooked and burned the sauce for the chicken smell like barbecue sauce with ginger in it… i usually let it go but this one i can’ttttt …. They are not even deserve a star, i scored them zero » 00000000

Very disappointed in Ron's (rising sun location in Philadelphia) I ordered a veggie platter, this rice and peas or rice and beans witch ever you call it was very dry, potatos dry, everything dry. Never again will I go to this establishment. The cabbage had absolutely horrible, no flavor AT ALL. What in the heezy, how can this place still be in business. I guess the people continue to settle for less and don't no GOOD FOOD. What a shame. By the way, for the people who don't eat meat, wouldn't you like for a place to have brown gravy with out meat in it instead of offering you fish gravy. Keep up with the time everyone does not eat meat. Fish is meat (Meat is Flesh)

Went here and this jawn was mehhhh. The problem I have is of course they don’t listen to things when we order them. I asked for a specific piece of food that caught my eye. The shorty then tells me no because she would have to move the other beef patties to the side to get to the one I asked for. I kindly left those beef patties there. If you can’t give me what I asked for then I don’t want any of it. It’s not like I’m asking her to make a new beef patty. I won’t ever go to any Ron’s again. This is our money and for to long we have allowed these people to come into our land and disrespect us.

I believe in giving props 👏🏿 where they are DO. I've driven past this restaurant for years but had never actual eaten there. Lets start with the atmosphere upon entering...the store was very clean and gospel 🙌 music 🎶 was playing, That in itself drew me in. As I approached the counter I was very impressed to see the female employees with hairnets on. That's so rare these days. Now let's talk the food. When I say this was THE best jamaica 🇯🇲 food I've ever tasted in the states. Everything was cooked with perfect 👌 seasoning and very flavorful. I would normally pick over my platter. I tore my food up and have leftovers. I'm So glad I finally stopped in and gave them a try.

The BASA fried fish is all that!!! The food is delicious and platters are moderately priced for the amount of food given. My only issue is the upcharge for certain sides - i.e., Mac & Cheese and Yams. Otherwise, the staff were really nice and I love the music you hear when you walk up and while in the restaurant.

I believe the resident chef was out on Friday 10/3. I'm not sure how you can mess up white rice, curry chicken and mixed veggies. Absolutely no flavor or taste. The chicken chunks were so big, the container could hardly close. There was hardly any gravy just the soso curry coloring. This was the worse food I've had from that location. The curry goat was not well seasoned either.

Nonetheless, customer service was excellent 👌

I ordered from Ron’s Caribbean Cuisine today on Uber Eats and wasn’t sure what to expect—but man, I was seriously impressed! I got the curry chicken with white rice and cabbage, a curry chicken patty, and a traditional beef patty. Everything was so good.

The curry chicken had so much flavor, and that thick broth? I kept going back for more—couldn’t get enough. And the patties? Super flaky and packed with flavor.

Listen here—y’all need to go ahead and get yourselves some of this food! Ron’s is the real deal, and they’ve definitely got a new regular in me.
