I believe in giving props 👏🏿 where they are DO. I've driven past this restaurant for years but had never actual eaten there. Lets start with the atmosphere upon entering...the store was very clean and gospel 🙌 music 🎶 was playing, That in itself drew me in. The BASA fried fish is all that!!! The food is delicious and platters are moderately priced for the amount of food given. My only issue is the upcharge for certain sides - i.e., Mac & Cheese and Yams. Otherwise, the staff were really nice and I love the music you hear when you walk up and while in the restaurant.
I ordered from Ron’s Caribbean Cuisine today on Uber Eats and wasn’t sure what to expect—but man, I was seriously impressed! I got the curry chicken with white rice and cabbage, a curry chicken patty, and a traditional beef patty. Everything was so good.
The curry chicken had so much flavor, and that thick broth? I kept going back for more—couldn’t get enough. And the patties? Super flaky and packed with flavor.
