Wanted a breakfast wrap. Asked if it was possible to cut it in half, expecting a no problem answer. Surprised to be told they wouldn’t. Did not buy the wrap. Went to Starbucks instead and they were happy to cut their breakfast sandwich in half. Split it with my friend and we were happy. My experience was at the Upenn Hospital location. Not sure if there are others.

Coffee was good and most of the staff is friendly. Food was okay but not great. Got coffee/food here everyday for a week while my father was inpatient. I stopped by and asked for a cup of ice and was told I’d need to purchase something. That turned me off and I went to the other cafe for the rest of his stay at U Penn.Dietary restrictions: Has vegan and gluten free options.

It is located on the second floor of the pavilion. You have to go in the main entrance and up the escalators to find it. Food was great and well priced. Lots of good vegetarian options.Vegetarian options: Sandwiches and salads with tofu, mushrooms or chickpeas as the protein.

They changed the dressing for the tofu twist from the most delicious ginger dressing to this sweet thick teriyaki dressing. I’m so bummed because the old dressing was so much better and the reason why I always come for lunch. Please bring it back ?

Amazing experience. Thank you!

Got the avocado toast with egg on top. By the time I got to my desk to eat it (about 5 mins) the bread was soggy as if it had been microwaved. To make it worse there was a large chunk of egg shell in my egg.

Pricey, but easy to reach from the research building ??

With the limited options at HUP we were very impressed with the selection here.-The prices are on the higher end ($9 for 2 slices of goat cheese toast, which we split and was very tasty with strawberries & balsamic) and a reasonable $10 for the Green Goodness sandwich. Honestly you’d pay $10 for a simple turkey sandwich in the cafeteria so this crispy sandwich was a pleasant treat. We waited a few minutes longer than normal and were offered a free treat/drink for our wait. Such great customer service and the workers are all very kind & lovely! Will definitely be returning :-)

So excited to have a great place to grab food at work, will def be back. Located on the first floor of the new HUP Pavilion by the central rotunda closer to old HUP connector than the escalator/main entrance (but technically second floor). I got the chicken sandwich and contrary to the other review it was delicious hands down. Juicy flavorful chicken, well dressed, bread toasted to perfection ?? excited to try other menu items!

It was good but one employee threatened to spit in my food :( Also referred to me in a derogatory manner. She was very short with glasses. Terrible experience. She should be fired.

The chicken goodness was okay, I wouldn’t order it again, but it is by far the best hospital food I’ve ever had.
