I went to get some beer and snacks. They accept cash, and for $1 charge they will accept debit, Google pay, or Apple pay. They close at 12am and 1am on Friday and Saturday.

I've lived in the neighborhood for going on five years now.I've recently started really visiting this place within the last year and have become comfortable with the place and the staff that work inside. I find myself sitting for a few minutes at times because the place is that comfortable.

Cheap af and great consistent service. Much better selection than fresh grocer on beer and more affordable. When I wanna get plastered for <$10 at 2am, I know I can rely on Salt & Pepper.

Philly!! Everytime I visit Philly, I HAVE to stop at Salt & Pepper(the one by Clark Park) and order me a chicken cheesesteak ????. Been eating here since 2006, so it's kinda my Philly tradition. Still, I'd highly recommend getting a cheesesteak here. DO NOT go downtown/Center City for a cheesesteak. Plenty of west Philly delis cook em and taste way better.

Word to the wise check the expiration dates of your stuff before you walk out of the store. Was literally JUST sold a 32oz Modelo with "best by march 2022" stamped on it. It's the middle of June 2022.
Clean store with friendly staff. Good selection of beers and alcohol.

At night this place is very well lit! The best place to get a bunch of alcohol like 30 racks and bottles. They do not sell hard liquor but do usually have any of the canned and bottle brands. The prices are good and they are open late.

Not the same grimy but essential deli of the past. It's brightly lit, floors are clean and not strewn with cardboard. Security cameras are visible and I actually saw someone ask for ID. Other typical deli staples, like tobacco products and over the counter pharmaceuticals are still available. The counter is all behind glass and shows the smaller food menu but greatly expanded alcohol selection. The Stop & Go Deli has wine yo! Beer, wine, cheesesteaks and fish platters.

Love Salt & Pepper. Reliable, easy, consistent, low cost.

Ok place, friendly. They don't take Debit Cards. However there's an ATM on site. Not to found of pulling out cash at random ATM's. They need to accept Debit Cards and get with the times.
