Visited from Houston in March. Food was delicious and service was great!

Tried Samuels for the first time today. I ordered the potato knish, the bread was really hard but the filling was tasty. Next I had the fried chicken sandwich that was fried well but lacked seasoning. With a little mustard it tasted better. My partner had the turkey club which he enjoyed. Overall customer service was great food was just ok.

Best breakfast in the city. Latkes are bangin, Challah French toast is NUTTY. Getting a bagel tower just feels like the boujeeiest experience ever. The prices are unreal, pastrami is good, meats are kosher too.Up samuels ??

Love this place! Went for a nice lunch and had the best Reuben of my life! The interior is classic deli and very clean. I enjoyed the staff and had great service. I had a casual lunch with family and never felt rushed or neglected. I will be coming back to try more of their tasty offerings with friends and family!

Was in Philly for business and went here for late lunch. Pastrami sandwich was exactly what I needed but your 8 oz beer glasses for $8 were not. Shout out to your wait staff for recommending Sampan for dinner. * Chef’s kiss*

Just had breakfast here Sunday morning . Our server and the rest of the staff were great. The menu had something for everyone. The breakfast sandwich was great and we had a Chocolate raspberry croissant for desert ! Also purchased some bagels to go. Go early and there is plenty of street parking in the area. We will return .

Best Latke I've ever had. Pastrami was flavorful, tender. Great job all around.

I went here for the first time last weekend with some friends. It was delicious!! I had the pastrami salmon platter. I chose the everything bagel that they bake in house. The bagel was fantastic! I will definitely be back!!

We came here for breakfast on the last day of our Philly trip and really liked it. My wife had the challah french toast: nice and fluffy with generous portions. I had the pastrami lox "tower" -- it was a lox and cream cheese on a bagel sandwich with all the usual fixings (onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, dill, and capers) except it came on a tower of 3 plates, the way English Afternoon Tea is served -- I thought that was a very fun presentation. Food was very good (we are New Yorkers and have high standards for bagels and lox) and the interior was beautiful

This place got great reviews recently and we decided to try it today. There were 4 of us at our table, and two other friends who came on their own.Out of the six, five ordered the corned beef sandwich.Mine was so tough I could not bite it. Others had the same issue. My wife noticed that the CB was cut with the grain, not against it as required. No wonder it wasn’t tender.OTOH-our server, Logan, was great. Very attentive without hovering, and a great attitude we thought! We would try it again.

My wife and I visited Samuel’s, a recreation of an old style Jewish deli and restaurant. We were greeted by Sara who was also our server who quickly provided seating and water, taking our order in a timely fashion. We ordered the ‘pigs in a blanket’, Hebrew National mini dogs in a flavorful puff pastry, as an appetizer. The deli style mustard really enhanced a great starter. My wife ordered the open faced brisket sandwich. It was truly the best brisket we have ever enjoyed…..flavorful and tender and juicy. My salami and eggs were somewhat less successful as I prefer that dish differently with the salami more incorporated into an omelet. The wine we ordered, a Pinot Noir, was surprisingly excellent. Sara was attentive, efficient and pleasant throughout our meal experience. A very good experience as we will certainly return.

We got the challah french toast and the pastrami triple decker and both were absolutely phenomenal! Also the service was great and the inside had a great ambiance. We will definitely be back soon!
