I visited on a rainy Wednesday afternoon and enjoyed delicious wine, very relaxed atmosphere and great bartender service. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. I hear there is a vinyl collection upstairs. Next time!

Just to illustrate how incredible the food and drinks are- I was broken up with at Sassafras (guy totally broke my heart), and I STILL come back whenever I get the chance, haha. I’m from out of town and occasionally work for a couple weeks a year in Philly, and I absolutely love Sassafras. I go out of my way to have at least one meal here when I’m in town. The atmosphere is incredible- especially for interior design/architecture junkies- the mosaic floor and tile work is lovely, vintage cocktails are beautifully made, and the food is unique and delicious. I couldn’t recommend it strongly enough.

Stopped here for cocktails and a bag of potato chips imported from Ireland. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was so fun. They have a phenomenal selection of cocktails to choose from which are unique in comparison to most cocktail bars. Service was great, as well!

There should be a category for drinks or cocktails for bars and lounges and even restaurants. Sassafras would garner 5 stars there, too. Have been visiting Sassafras for 30 years, while not a regular, we like to stop in when the spirit hits us. It never disappoints.

Had a lovely dinner for my adult daughter. Great place. Food is top notch. A casual kind of place. The wait staff was wonderful but not overly intrusive. An excellent limited menu with nice variety. My wife and daughter split the duck for two. Wonderful taste and presentation. Superb wine list and great craft cocktails. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Highly recommend.

Fantastic cocktails, great food, charming atmosphere, wonderful servers. I come here primarily for the cocktails. Their drink menu is robust and the bartenders are masters of their craft. Don't see what you're craving? Just describe what you're imagining and they'll engineer you exactly what you want. Brilliant.

Delicious tomato bisque, solid grilled cheese, flavorful portobello burger, and a well-made cucumber mocktail. Excellent service in a cozy atmosphere.
Not my favorite fries (shoestring style), but they were still good. Would return!
