I don’t give bad reviews, but I had to reevaluate that night and Me, I’m big on customer service. The owner is very rude, childish, and outrageously unprofessional. His cashier made a mistake, and the nerve of him to cut the conversation short of me correcting the cashier, and Bud in the conversation to say he’s trying to get out of there at the end of the night, when in fact he was talking to other young ladies in there, how ? It was up to the cashier to handle it not him to cut in the conversation and be blatantly ignorant. NEVER ever again will I be back here, no support in there rushing, and messing up orders then mad bc I’m explaining to the cashier his mistake. This is why black businesses do not strive. IGNORANCE. I didn’t come for nothing free I wanted what I asked and paid for. Then he doesn’t handle pressure at all as soon as we walked in her starts hollering from the kitchen to the front what he could and couldn’t cook before we even asked. RUDE AF. Only thing ok is the fried chicken to be honest and you can go anywhere to get that instead of somewhere you’re treated as if it’s your fault they messed up.

Absolutely disappointing... I have been following this page on IG ever since I had a taste of my Friend's food several months ago. I ordered stuffed salmon, mac and cheese and collard greens. Everything was subpar... the salmon had skin on it and it was completely flavorless and dry, even the little bit of filling was bland and tasteless. The greens tasted like they had spent time on the grill or smoker and were very dry. The mac and cheese was the absolute worst, looked and tasted like scrambled eggs with cheese. Definitely not worth the $30 I paid for it.

I had a taste for some soul food and one of my friends have posted them a few times so I went and tried it. I got fried fish Mac & cheese; string beans and an order of seafood salad. The fish was ok; Mac and cheese just tasted like cheese and the string beans was flavorless, I didn’t care for the seafood salad. I just feel it wasn’t worth the price, I think I’ll try again though because it could’ve just been this day.

I worked from home today so I wanted some good soul food. I’ve been here a fee times and the service and food continues to approve. Everyone talks about the mac and cheese being nasty and I’m so confused, because it’s always been on point. I got the fried fish, yams and mac and cheese, my second time getting it. It’s delicious!
